Grilled cheese with tomato...

    My typical grilled cheese is made from 9 grain bread or sourdough, American and Swiss cheeses, eggless mayo, thin slice of white onion, thin slice of tomato, salt and peppered.

    Microwaved for 30 seconds or so to get everything melted and stuck together.

    Fried in butter in a 7" cast iron skillet I maintain just for this purpose.

    A variant of this is a cheese melt I learned from an old girlfriend.

    Take a piece of bread, mayo it. Lay a nice slice from a big tomato on it, salt and pepper. Now put a slice of american cheese over it and microwave for two minutes.

    It'll knock your socks off.

    sounds good, xexon.... all except the american cheese... if it were me, I'd use cheddar...

    I'm not health conscious.

    I try to cram in as much crap as possible. That way I dont live as long.

    I'm so lost in hunger here....it sounds great yes...but that does ftw mean? and what the hell is "american cheese"???
