Grace Slick... was so hot!

Indeed! I vote Grace Slick at the hottest female rocker of the 60s! She deserves her own thread for her sweet vocals and, of course, her hotness!

I have that same boob tanline! That means we're sisters! She was pretty damn hot. She still is... she's rockin' the Emmy Lou grey.... lovely.

 

Too bad we don't have more "Grace Slicks" in the mainstream nowadays instead of all the "Britneys" and the "Avrils" and all that nonsense. At least Grace had the talent to back up her beauty! :H

 

and Grace was an acid queen, product of a beautiful time. hot as she is, Britney is all surface beauty. Grace was/is deep.

Such a shame she never actually managed to slip Nixon a hit of acid, as she intended to do once at a White House party... that could have been the funniest White House incident ever. I mean, think about it... Nixon on acid... he'd have turned into Trippy Dick!

 

She looked "pretty" around the time she debuted with the band, around '66/67. But drugs and booze quickly got the best of her and her looks. By the time Woodstock rolled around in '69, she wasn't looking too good. Too much speed, ludes and booze probably.

But hey, now she's rich and probably lives in a really big house in Malibu with a couple $50,000+ cars.

All that comes to my mind is the word "groovy." Grace Slick is groovy. She fits perfectly into my little utopian hippy world of peace, love, baby boomers, and visions of David Crosby copulating.

 

Oh man, yes, I love that picture. How often do you see a very *nice* looking girl giving the finger? Ahh, gotta love it.

I never thought Grace Slick was all that hot looking. She was okay, but not hot. I've always liked her in-your-face attitude and unabashed sexuality. Anyway, here's Grace nowadays. Time waits for no one:

In her late 60's prime she looked great but I've seen some pretty awful photos from the early 70's when she was looking pretty ravaged from errr.. one too many late night and the rest heheheh
She's 65 now, last recent photo I saw of her she had short white hair, barely recognisable from the old pictures.

 

I heard it was constant use of hair dye or something that made her hair white so early. Not saying there couldn't be other factors.

 

Yeah and given the lifestyle she's led to be quite honest I didn't think she looked at all bad for 65

 

Seriously... ain't it kinda ironic that the fast-living Jefferson Airplane is one of the few classic bands whose members are all still alive and kicking:H *fingers crossed, don't mean to jinx*

 

Once, someone told me I looked like her when she was young, and I felt insulted, even though it was supposed to be a compliment. I never liked how she looked, I don't think she had a very feminine-looking face... her jaw is too thick, her eyes like a Cocker Spaniel's eyes, and I look really different! (I hope). Plus we really don't have the same hair color. Mine has never been black.


Maybe she had a nice body... but that's all...

I think the reason why she was losing her looks in the 70's was becasue she just had a kid..yeah and the drugs didn't help either.

 

Also, don't forget that in the 70s, she was over 30 years old. Most everybody starts to lose their looks by then.
