I just got news from my youngest son and he married a MEXICAN chick.
I hope their happy as for me i'm going into the kitchen and putting my head in the oven and turning on the gas.

I had a (white) friend that died in a car crash many years ago and her father refused to even go to her funeral because she dated a black man. I have to say that this man that her father hated so much treated her better than anyone EVER had. He didn't beat her...like so many of her (white) ex- boyfriends had, he never even said a harsh word to her in the 5 years that they were together. He was a truly good man in every sense. The fact that her father disowned her over the relationship.......I will never understand.

I have 5 children and I can honestly say that I just want them to be happy in life with whatever they chose to do OR who they choose to be with, as long as the person treats them well. I will dislike ANYONE that treats my kids badly regardless of race/religion/or gender.

I don't know the whole story, but does it not mean anything to you that your son just might be with someone that makes him happy? Would you rather him be with someone of the same race that makes him unhappy?

Sure hope that was a joke. My grandson's father is Mexican and my grandson is the most awesome kid ever. Maybe if you're super lucky, you'll get some really cool grandkids.
