Goin to kroger, but i need some info

How much do they let you overwrite a check for at kroger? I have $0 in cash, and need some grubbage. but i dont wanna leave kroger still broke, cuz i wanna buy some pot. would they let me do it for fifty dollars over?

IN other words, im buying $20 in groceries, so i write them an $80 check... then i get $60 in return. See how that works?

 

i dont think you can write if for that much over cause i use to have to do that all the time before i got paid, and theyd let you only do it for 20 over, thats it and it was like that everywhere i went...

I dont know. where i bank at, I used to have a debit card, and it was regarded exactly like a check. But a grocery store might not see it like that. IDK I can still try. The most they can do is say, "No."
