well who intends going or trying to go, tickets are expected to go on sale in april and will sell out fast . I actually wouldnt mind working glastonbury never have before but may try that route this time
What ever ways are possible, I will be trying. Worse comes to worst I'll be hand-gliding in like that fellow at the 2004 Glastonbury
Hehe!! That was funny I really want to go.. the rumour mill on the line up is spectacular! and they never really are ever wrong! Glastonbury Festival - Friday 22 June until Sunday 24 June 2007 Pyramid Stage unknown day Cream - rumour Eric Clapton - strong rumour Kylie - strong rumour The Killers - strong rumour The Who - strong rumour unknown stage unknown day Mark Knopfler - rumour Looks like heaven on a plate to me!
I very much doubt Cream will reform again. I would like to go, but i'm not gonna go hell-for-leather, scratching my eyes out to try and get tickets.
I say next time I go I shall be working!!! I think its uber expensive now and it keeps getting more and more!!!! I won't be going next year I have bigger fish to fry next year!!!
I nned to go or I sha;; die a slow and painful death, I'll dig a tunnel under the fence FROM EDINBURGH!
Personally I don't think £133 is all that bad...Certainly not for Glastonbury. That's what I paid for Leeds Festival this year and Leeds only had 4 or 5 stages! It's well worth it. Think about it this way, Tickets to see 1 band and 2 support acts can cost anything from £10 to £50, at Glasto there's hundreds of bands to choose from!
heh! I'll start one from durham too...... *grabs his shovel and starts... erm.. shovelling!* I can see how some might balk at the £133 cash pullout.... but i don't really think it's all that pricey... worth it imo deffo be there next year, hella missed the glasto trip this summer!
***meanwhile, 10 ft under west cumbria*** shedtroll: Hey, you trying to get to glastonbury Random guy: No! I'm escaping from a POW camp. shedtroll: the war ended 60 years ago, man. Random guy: No, your under a secrect american POW camp....
Yes you can apply to work for Oxfam, Wateraid or one of the other organisations that employ stewards and litter pickers and get in for free. (Well, you pay a deposit which is returned if you complete your shifts). Normally you get some kind of food, showers, clean toilets and secure place to camp and the work is very easy. If you are doing this apply very early, like before Christmas
