Ive always wondered if people who glass blow could or do reuse regular glass like broken bottles or chips of glass in there artwork? My friend is a glassblower and she says she uses the stuff. Does anyone else know of anyone who does this or is she the only one? She uses it mostly in mosiac kinda stuff and for adding little colors to her already beautiful beads and such.......Thanx for the comments back.

Interesting question. So, can glass be remelted and recycled?

Yes. It absolutely can be. In fact, a very large percentage of everyday items is made with recycled glass. But is purifying & melting the glass worth the additional emissions required?
