okay, ive been thinking how women are different from men yet similar. so here goes alil question thats been bugging me restlessly. im kinda shy girls wise and used to think i was the only one affraid to talk to a girl i like and say dont know. along time ago i was at a huge party this guy was throwing, i got lil drunk but mainly got high, everyone was doing drugs and i though maybe i could like meet a girl or something. i mean its so much easier with guys, ur just like hey, how you doing, ask theyre name etc and thats it- converstation started and goes on until ur almost best buddies. everyparty i go to i meet so many new poeple, many much older than me yet all male. so anyway at that one, my friends first were like yeah were all going to try to find a girl (all gfless) so during the party, there just ozzing around not doing anything,so im like fuck it ima try. now drink gives you confidence, but i wasnt that drunk, i was really high and kinda thinking of myself as a failure. so im near this girl i thought looked nice, asked around ppl who knew her, they said yeah she wasnt with anyone. so im thinking for 20min what to do/say. i mean it would sound so stupid and clliche if you like walk up with a grin say hey how your doing?. so a tune starts playing and im life fuck it, i going for it, i walk up to her and say hey do you wana dance? , shes ike, uh no thanx. i felt like when u have diorhea but no toilet around. so i was just bopping around feeling like shit. so im asking this one thing, do you not realise how much balls it takes for average unexperienced folk to talk to a completely unknown, really pretty female? i mean atleast say something, not just look and say uh no thanx. i think i was traumatised for many months :/, thank god everyone was too drunk or high to care/notice, everyone would have been laughing theyre asses off
If you want to meet girls, then doing so while you're drunk and high at a party is a crappy way to go about it. Join a club at school or something.
i fin. school, off to college now. anyway, i had made many bad choices i really regret, which made ppl see me as a complete jerk which i am not, just the crowd i was with bought shit out. its why ive been waiting for a fresh start like this, completely new and all. i can easily say if i knew me from school, id hate me

I was never very popular in high school, either. You'll end up meeting more people who are more like you in college, most likely. High school is just a huge contest to see who can be the biggest conformist.
Just play it cool around chicks man. Right now, go to the mirror. Find your style (do not put on those huge sunglasses from the pic thread lol) and make sure you can say to yourself "Damn, I look good" Everyone can look good. Now, pick up lines, don't use anything cheesy like "hey baby, I like all the bones inside you, especially mine" unless you know the girl is a whore. Find good simple ones. Pretty girls think that they can get any guy they want (which is mostly true) so find a girl that is decent, not too pretty, not ugly. They will have lower self confidence. Or B) find a girl you know used to be ugly and she is pretty now. Her confidence is usually lower than the always pretty girls. Once you get a few of these girls then bam move up. If your at a party look for a chick all alone, off to the side who looks bored. Be FUNNY! This is the key thing to picking up chicks. (not corny but funny) Make yourself stand out, be that guy who everyone has heard of because of something cool you did. Hey maybe you threw the party, or maybe you brought the most bad ass bong anyone has ever seen. Or play the bad ass role, you are the guy who did something to someone. But make sure you are noticed.
College will be a fresh start! I agree that meeting girls drunk at parties isn't the best of ideas. IMO, most people you meet at parties arn't there to find relationships or bonds. Just be confident and don't plan what your going to do, just do it. Join a club or talk to girls in your classes. Your much more likely to find a girl you like in these situations and much less likely to wake up the next morning with a hang over and a strange rash...
college at 16...thats impressive. Theres always the classic line...hey, im alex...wanna fuck. If that dosent work, just approach a group of girls in which you know one. go up, say hi to her, she introduces you to her friend...boom, instant conversation. Thats what i always do. Just hang kids you have met a few times who are there with hot girls you have never met.
They have sixth form colleges. I think the purpose is to study for some exam everyone has to take. Maybe some wanker can enlighten us.
its not college with campus. just college. i had a chouce of a levels, but as i said i was an idiot in school, and last year was mental torture for me, i need somewhere new and fresh. i had an interview this morning, (late i know, i applied really late), the place seems really nice.
Meeting people out of high school is so much easier. Im in high school and its really rather awful, as someone said earlier its like a big contest, no one really cares about meeting new people.
you'll meet people in the oddest places... I met my boyfriend at a gay pride festival a year ago, lmao. and you'll notice, when they're really special, it's like that. it doesn't matter where you meet them, you'll just be like "god damn it, i have to know that person." and then... it only take a little persuasion, hehe.
