Hi, I was wondering dose shooting morphine (skin popping 20mg/1ml vials) only once a week, will I get the habit(physically addicted)? And dose tolerance build up with that ferequency of using? I am new to opiates only 2 shots till now. 10x in advance.
you're new to opiates and the first thing you did was shoot it up? You're a fuckin' goof. No junkies around here. And there is no way you'll get addicted... You'll be the exact OPPOSITE of what happens to everyone else that touches a needle. Get real.
No If you are only doing it oounce a week you will not get physically addicted you usally have to opiates over a number of days to get a habbit. but you might already be psychologically addicted, And psychological addiction can be just as bad. And in all truth you will start doing it more then ounce a week sooner or later. The higfh feels so good you will want it more then just ounce a week ? Be careful man if you are new to opiates you really should not be shooting them up thats a real easy way to have a early funeral !!!! even if you are only skin popping its still very dangerous and risky for a new opiate user. if you are going to contiue shooting do not main line until you havedone it for some time and your body is use to it. Mainlinning is way more dangerous then skinpopping !!!! Dam man be careful you are playing with fire !!!!
Well i`m not insane. First i drank 1 vial. A few day later i skin popped half vial (10mg) now i`m planing to skin popp full vial (20mg) The efects of half vial where very mild, just realy relaxing and not a care in the world...and weak strange taste in the mouth the first 30 minutes or so, constipation for 2 days. 10x for the feedback
and what are you gonna do when you get nasty abcesses from skin popping? Will you still think it's cool to do? *rolls eyes*
PLEASE don't listen to anyone who says you won't get physically addicted from doing it once a week. Remember, physical addiction and psychological addiction go hand in hand. The fact that you've already doubled your dosage to get a bigger buzz should set off alarm bells. It won't be too long before it becomes 20mg twice a week, then 4 times, then every day, etc, and you won't realise you have a problem before it's too late, then you try and bring yourself off it, and bam, physical withdrawal symptoms. Edit: And it's all too easy to say "well, I have self control, that'll never happen to me", because the symptoms of physical addiction will set in gradually, probably without you realising it, so rather than thinking like "OH GOD I NEED MY FIX", you're more likely to rationalize the situation to yourself, ie "well.. I suppose one more hit a week won't hurt!".
dude...its an opiates forum, half the people here are fuckin junkies the fact of the matter is opiates are opiates...oxi's morphine heroin they all end up in your blood in the long run...and if the only difference in you and this guy is that he chooses a different method who are you to judge yah know. Im not condoning the needle, im simply saying...the" no junkies here" quote was utopian idealism to the fullest. We all here do opiates, no need to judge
Bottm line is no one is going to get Physically addicted to any kind of opiate from codeine to Herion doing it only ounce a week. you might get mentally addicted to the drug but it would be impossibe to become physically addicted, you have to take the opiates for about 3 to 7 days in a row before you pick up a physical addiction to them.
So true. Physical addiction has to do with withdrawl. THAT'S IT! Crack cocaine is NOT physically addictive. Many anti-depressants are physically addictive (but they won't ever make you feel "high"). Fact check me if you don't believe me. Doing opiates through needles gives you an initial "rush". This rush is what many opiate users (particularly heroin users) crave. I would go so far as to say it is the single most addictive feeling in the entire world. Put your needle down. You really need to wake the fuck up. Don't just dive in to injecting opiates. You can experience withdrawl (beyond the basic day-after effects) even if you just use weekly. If I were you I'd limit myself to monthly use (at most), non-needle. If and when you set a limit for yourself, you can't break it... ever.
uplink great point you are 100% right. you get more addicted to the needle and the rush from shooting the drug then you do the over all high. Its bad enuff to have a opiate addiction but even worse to start shooting it becaue you will always want that rush of the drug hitting your blood stream and rush it gives you. There are also not to many drugs out there that are physically addicting. opiates,Benzo's,and Alchool are the only 3 I can think of . I think sleeping pills sedatives are also. you are also correct it does not matter how bad one is addicted to Crack cocaine or meth neather are physically addicting. Also its not a good idea for any one to shoot drugs. I have never seen one personbe able to start using the needle and not become a addict, That fucking spike will take over your life. Belive me its not a way you want to live being a IV drug user. IT SUCKS !!!!
Everyone has different tolerance levels and its similar with addiciton levels. I've done all sorts of shit but have never become addicted. Could be chemical - could be mental, or even physical, but whatever it is, if you want to get over an addiction you just have to do it and let it go. It might be difficult at first, but you can make your way through it Hell, the only thing I'm addicted to is Ben & Jerry's ice cream lol.
Completely untrue. Crack/Cocaine is not physically addictive but the amphetamines most certainly are.
Esp Shredder Meth is not physically addicting I don't know where you got your info from but its not true ! T I don't care if you do meth for 10 years straight there would be no physical withdraw from meth what so ever. look it up on the net or ask a drug counsoler if you don't belive me. Mentally yes meth is one of the worst physical no.
Just so you know man, cocaine is a central nervous system stimulant, acting in the brain in a very similar way to methamphetamines, although the effects that users feel are very different, both cause the brain, with long term use, to discontinue its production of seratonin and/or dopamine, making them, in all senses of the word, addictive.
