Getting High At Work

Do any of you guys get high at work? Heres a funny story..My last job was at a movie theater and the only people that worked there were teenaged potheads..so during breaks we would get fucking ripped. Well after hot boxing my co-workers car for half an hour. I walked into our break room stoned as high as fuck...almost as high as i have ever been. And it just so happened that my boss had bought the staff a double chocolate cake. So i had the munchies like a mutherfucker...so i cut a HUGE ass slice of cake and started eating it. But, there were no plates, so i had to eat it with my hands. And Im just laughing my ass off saying "THIS IS THE BEST CAKE EVER" and i have like chocolate cake all over my hands and face. And everybody in the break room is staring at me. Then i went back to work as high as i was...and that was the hardest time i ever had pusking buttons. Everything was crazy. I was like 30 dollars short on my draw. It sucked...but its all good. So do any of you guys get high at work, and if so, any interesting stories to tell?

 

I never get high at work, but that's pretty damn funny...

 

oh man, that story was funny. can't get high at work (yay, i can say i have a job now, woot woot)...i work at a sports camp with kids.

go to work high every once in a while, stay straight most of the time though...i would like to keep my job rather than lose it for something dumb. and yeah dude, that story kicked ass.

I don't think I could work stoned. Plus, I would want to offend anyone or get fired. Like in EllisDTripp's Drug User's Guideline thing... I just think it's something you should enjoy in your free time.

 

...and if your free time happens to be the 5 minute drive to work in the morning so be it

 

I am a waitress at a very stressful place between the customers and my fellow coworkers the only way to deal with anything that goes on there is to get high. Every weekend me and a few of my friends that work with me pool our money and get enough vikes to last the weekend!! Its kinda funny cause every week more and more people are putting money in for the pool.....so if i ever become an addict I blame my place of employment!!!!!!

 

hell yah i get high at work. ima manager at a dairy queen. all of my employees get backed too. they come up to me and like can i get a 15min break and im like yah, but dun get caught dumbass. it's cool though cause most of my employees smoke me out.

but as for my funny story. i was hot-boxing the backroom, then i come out baked as hell. then since no one was around i started pouring the carmel dip into my mouth and it went all over the place and there were these 3 kids i dind't notice b4 and they were like holy crap.

 

i have never gotten high for work but for school I have and my first class was Math and i just acted retarded. I was so hard

I work at a grocery store. I now work in the back stocking shelves, but I used to cashier and bag peoples groceries. God, that was an awful job. You have to just stand there in one spot for hours. To save money, they don't work enough people so you have a constant line of customers which doesn't let up until you clock out and go home. On the few occasions where I did go to work stoned, it was slightly less shitty (but I often forgot to give people there change).

 

shoot...from may of 98 til aug 03 i worked in a physical therapy clinic as a tech...i got stoned just about everyday, on my way to work and on my lunch breaks.......when i left for college, i stayed high....now i work around the coal mines and my company gives drug tests so i cant smoke as often, but i have came here and gotten high while i was out on the road, or when i go off by myself to do something up in the middle of no where....but work is so much smoother stoned....shit i think i may take a smoke break on that notion....

 

I was only at work once when i was stoned, because I got called in unexpectedly (for an emergency repair job) on what was supposed to be a day off. I got things running again, but it wasn't too easy to concentrate on what I was trying to do.. The phone literally rang in the middle of a bong hit!

In general, going to work stoned isn't a good idea. In my area of work, it could be very dangerous. Being baked around high voltage electricity, machine tools, and delicate instruments is a recipe for disaster.

Save the smoking for off-work hours.

 

I've done it twice but it was because my high hadn't worn off before I had to go to work. I work at the vet and I got to walk all the dogs while I was high. It was a lot more fun..and I talked to the dogs (I talk to them when I'm not stoned anyways, it helps the time go by faster) It's funny too because one of the dogs knows how to tell you yes or no by tilting its head different ways.

 

Sometimes I smoke before and or during work and school.

 

I remember when my friend used to work at Ben & Jerry's we'd go there at like 9pm during the winter and no one was there so we'd just smoke out the backroom and pass the bowl around. When someone would walk into the store she'd just out there give them a scoop or two then come back and hit the bowl. Then when the session was over with we'd leave the backroom and just eat all the cookies, brownies, ice cream mmmm.
