well, depends on the family members. racist, ignorant fucktards, not so much. Hilarious, bitter, sarcastic and generally comical family, absolutely

 

yea, it can be fun, but like ihmurria said, it depends on who. like drinking with my moronic, stupid, self-centered, fake-punk, cousin who likes to start shit and gets his ass beat by little kids - then no, i dont' drink with him.

but people who are cool, and not moronic then fine...

 

There really ain't no drinking like family drinking. I was always looking for a way to connect with those I didn't really talk to. Several shots and a few bottles of wine brought us really close ... almost too close

 

The only people in my family that I get drunk with are my parents. My brother doesn't drink and all my relatives are dead.


But, my parents are pretty fun.

 

i like getting drunk with my sister (big joe) and my brother brad. other than that you have to work too hard to keep the rest from beating the shit out of you or whomever.

 

I find drinking with the family awful.

Firstly, theres only me, my mum and my brother. Were all wanting to be somewhere else with someone different. We have hardly any common ground.

And info about our personal lives comes out into the open...things we just rather wouldnt have known or have the others know. Were at a point now where we all have our own lives to live. Its nice for 10 minutes or so...but any more than that, especially with drink involved, seems to be a waste of time.

Sad? Nah, i dont think so. We all like eachother a sufficient amount...jus no way id ever spend a whole evenin drinkin with em.

i like getting drunk with my sisters', it would be wierd geting drunk with the others. Mum doesnt drink, dads not aloud to, and my brother is a twat

 

yeah, i hear ya. i think the entire purpose of a family is to FORCE YOU to interact with people you'd never look at twice in any other situation.

 

some of this drunk family party have ended with 1 family member DEAD!. " shot,stab,beaten to death".

 

my sister-in-law makes "the punch" at every party..


basically tons of alcohol a little fruit juice and some cut up pieces of fruit..

we actually fight over who's driving and who's drinking the punch .. weeks before the party

 

i make a mean southern comfort punch.

 

getting drunk with my family would be my fifth ring of hell...
