Getting a new pipe, any suggestions?

Wut up everybody, I am new to the forum (just to let you know). But anyway..... I live in NYC right near Manhattan. I've been planning to get a new pipe, probably glass unless someone can argue something better. I already have a bong so I am covered in that categorey. I just wondered if anyone had any general suggestions, or knew a place in the Manthattan/New York area that was good. I've already been through I few glass pipes, having lost one of them and gotten the other stolen, so I am not totally ignorant but I thought someone might have a nice idea, that i hadn't already thought of.

i would like to have a hobbit's pipe , they look nice and they are long enough to cool down the smoke a bit*l* i have looked for them in quite a few headshops but so far no luck

yah my friend got one of those gandalf pipes, they are pretty nice.

but as for my recomendation, i would suggest you get a small pipe you can conceal easily. make sure it has a nice big bowl and a carb. and colors.... are up to u

Eww.. never seen an organ like that. You just have to think about a chinese dragon.

 

meh i see it.. but the part you smoke out of is wide and uneven so u have to stick that like a half inch into your mouth.. alot of slobber if its getting passed around =P anywayz my rides just got here gotta go =P enjoy your scottish chinese dragon!

 

although glass is nice, I prefer my metal pipe. you can actually hold it in your teeth unlike the glass... and I'd be afraid of breaking the glass.. although glass designs are awesome

get a glass pipe, cant go wrong there, metal ones get too hot from exessive smoking, bubblers are kinda hard to carry around in your pocket.(I had a minibong once, man wuz that hard to get outta the house.) But ya, glass pipes are some of the best, just after the glass screen is shitty and needs ot be changed, DO NOT change it with a normal sink screen, you have to get another glass one or else it can fuck the pipe up or sumthin, I dunno my buddy told me that.

 

if your glass bowl is nice enough...you dont need a screen

glass is the way to go...although i smoked out of a little coffin-shaped stone bowl yesterday and that was nice too...not a lot of ppl around here have stoneware so it was a nice change

 

Colour-changing glass spoon is the way to go man.

 

Dude, look for how well the glass is melted together ( at parts the peices come together) think about how easy itd break , get like a thick bowl head and a nice thick lead ( the pipe part). and get it small about as big as my middle finger ( how will you know how big that is ?) about 5 inches or less. make sure it can stand ( you dont have to but its better if you got ganj in it and you need to set it down so it doesnt fall out)
