German Bands?

    Does anybody know of any german bands I could have a listen to. I listen to this band called Janus but I dont know if they are big or not. Just found them on a website.

    and anything by Michael Schenker.

    Joanna Connor is a great blues guitarist from Germany.

    no one has mentioned Die Totenhosen!
    They're quite good and very popular, i listened to them live at Rock am See festival a couple of years ago and i liked them very much..anyway the're one of the most popular german bands

    Hardcore fan:Totenhosen, Rammstein

    Not hardcore fan:There's Nena, nobody mentioned Juli. But I'm not sure if she's popular ( I just finally returned back to Germany after 2 years in america), but one of her songs is in The Dome CD . Silbermond's very popular right now.

    rap/hip hop fan:Samy delux, Sido

    I'm not really a fan to most German music.To much metal, hip hop, and rap.
    - My least favourite genres...
