Gender confusion on the forums

Not having the gender listed next to the posts leads to some interesting happenings.

This is a thread about those happenings.

So far, I've been mistaken for a female twice, and I've mistaken countless guys for females, but I've only mistaken a female for a guy once or twice.

Sometimes the avatar leads me to believe they are female, sometimes their posts; but I don't always know why.

 

so i posted on a thread about one's dirtiest or kinkiest fantasy.

 

I've made a mistake or three here at HF! lol

 

I'minmyunderwear was confusing when I first joined


but I've seen them on the toilet so I'm pretty sure now (but not 100% positive)

I have done it. Some people I am still not sure of so I post without a gender reference to them.

I have had a lot of people who were not sure of mine. So I added the Heather. When I first joined on the old board, someone thought I was a cop the real irony was that I was posting in the yoga forum.

 

hahahahaha I guess he didn't pay any attention to your username. Did he respond after that?

There is one occasion I can remember when someone on here thought I was a female. I used to have a naked lady in my avatar with potleaves covering her lady parts, and some dude asked if that was me and he said "if so....you're fuckin hot", or something like that.

There are still some I'm not quite sure of, and at one point there was a question over Duck!

well after he said that, glenglen said i was a guy. and he said "Haha, well, perhaps I should look a little harder next time " so yeah i dont see how he didnt draw kyle out of my username.
plus you dont sound a girl, that'd be more like fisting. im just sayin.

and i remember that avatar TNS, but wasn't it during the same time you had the custom sig with your face behind the smoke? haha

I completely relate. I don't mind at all that I get mistaken for a chick on here, cause I think my personality is rather androgynous =P

I remember everything that I've seen or heard; but I have terrible trouble accessing those memories. Brain must not organize well enough.

 

i think some of the L&S creepers decided i was a female based on my username combined with wishful thinking.

best was the guy who pmed me repeatedly with the obvious hopes of having cybersex, until i started talking to him about my penis.

yeah, i do have a great ass. just because i went through that purse carrying phase doesn't make me a woman though.
