I'd agree that games need a section of thier own but I know my own attempts at even keeping one thread about gaming alive wasn't met with much response. Not sure there's that many gamers about on Hip. I find WoW is deficent compared to most... Can't afford to go out and get NWN2 but I find it's best to wait a good deal of time for something like this anyways. Lets some of the bugs that slipped past beta get found and fixed and to see what persistant worlds arise and are stable.
BE Occam has found it has a few bugs yes. And also the new 3d 3rd person aspect needs work on the controls. But can still see baldurs gate under all th e new stuff Yet so far..superior to wow, played that for 4 months and ended up deleting 60 pally and cancelling account. There were no real quests. You could not . unlike bg2/nwn2. do the hard stuff without temporary alliance to egotistical teens and even then it took many repeat runs of instances to have a shot at getting a good drop. Would clasify wow not as an mmorpg but a mmoriag Massive Multiplayer Online Repetative Items Accumulation Game So much the better for blizzard..they make huge sums while the kiddies spend months picking up parts of their 'oh so nice' tier armour. So they can prance about in IF outside AH and shout "look at me look at me.. i'm special" Im stupid enoughto spend a year and 300 instance runs getting judgement set. But what do they do then? Nothing No quests or storyline While in nwn2 [hopefully] there is a prevailing plot and interesting quests to achieve it [only a short way in so far] Occam
