Gaing to School Barefoot

How many of you go to school barefoot. I don't mean kicking your shoes off in class. Do any of you actually attend school barefoot? If so, what do your teachers and friends say about it?

 

Went to a Catholic school which meant uniforms.

 

When I was in college, I went barefoot everywhere for months and months for four years until I graduated. Unfortunately, I wore sandals when it got cold (Thanksgiving through Easter).

Going to college in Micronesia probably doesn't count, but I did go without shoes the entire time...

 

when i was attended college: 1979-1984, i went barefoot the majority of the time. when the temperatures became cool, i wore flip flops, long before they became popular.

 

Not allowed in my country's schools.
With reason!

 

Our teachers flip about even flip-flops, but a couple of my friends and I want to go to school with no shoes for the last week of school. Some of the teachers are kind of cool with rule-breaking.. as long as you don't interupt their class.

 

And what country might that be, praytell, Antarctica? In that case, I can see where shoes may not be a bad idea

is it only because you yourself are preoccupied with the idea that people just shouldn't be barefooted or do you have a proper reason? hmmz???

 

Decent education

Our Flemisch schools still have strict clothing reglementation.

 

But obviously terrible English grammar and spelling standards... The trolls around here are so amusing :troll:

Expecting someone to be able to speak Englisch perfectly, with giving them only 2 hours English in a weak, is kinda an utopia...

i went to school barefoot when i went to community college...at my high school it was WAY too gross to go barefoot. gum, rotten food, everything you wouldn't want on your skin was on the floor.
i pretty much dont wear shoes.
and when i have to, i just wear my mocosins (sp?)

i'm still in school so i can go barefoot pretty much all the time, when the weather works. It has been really beautiful lately, so I've been going barefoot the past week or so. Don't encounter many problems on campus.

 

Yup ... and our freedom is (besides putting off our shoes) to set up forum guidelines in order to keep the discussions free of trolls and spam (and you're free to stick to them).

So ... off topic posts and flames will be deleted.
