I'm a huge fan of Yiddish words... they're all so onomatopoetic. Hey there's another! onomatopoeia (on-uh-mah-tuh-pee-ya: when a word sounds like the thing it represents) yutz (idiot) putz (an idiot, but also meaning male genitals) ferschimmeled (confused) shmuck (a jerk, also meaning male genitals) shiksa (a non-Jewish female, often blonde) zaftig (curvaceous or well-built, referring to a female) And there's actually a story by Arthur C. Clarke entitled "The Defenestration of Ermintrude Inch". It's in his book Tales from the White Hart.
