God paypal is being such a bitch right ive gotten 75 dollars in charges because of them with my bank. The first 50 i understand but 10 minutes ago i get on to check my account and theres another 25 saying i over drew when there wasnt enough funds in my account which is fucking bullshit cause i havent done anything with paypal after i got the first set of fees.
i've used paypal like 200+ times I'm verified and have a visa and a bank account setup with my account and only once have i been overdrawn, so clearly it's your own error and not paypal
Ya i just went to the bank and figured out what it was for. But i dont think i should have even gotten the fees in the first place. I put my debit card on there and went to pay with debit or whatever like my friend was telling me and i still got the money taken out of my savings some how. But anyways i just really needed to vent cause i barely have any money as it is and i just lost $75
Sucks, dude. I used to have that problem ALL the fuckin' time.. not with paypal mind you, I was just a total financial twat ingeneral. I was always getting bank fees and shit. It sucks having no money, but it sucks even worse being indebt and not having the cash to get out of it. It happens though, just have to learn from it and move on. I don't know if it'll help you, but try and organize your finances better. That's the only way I stopped living hand-to-mouth.
im thinking about stopping using paypal all together or just use how i used too. The thing that really sucks was i switched 300 dollars over from my savings to checking the day i made all the purchases. And if i would have done that a little later i still would have my $75.
you dont use "debit" with paypal you either charge your purchases on a credit card, or they are withdrawn from your bank if there are no funds in 1 account, they are withdrawn from the account WITH funds, regardless of holds etc. If you use paypal alot, or services that withdraw money from your account automatically you should go to your bank and setup an "overdraft" which is kinda like a buffer zone, so that when an account is overdrawn, or forced to take money from a secondary account, you arent penalized for it
im not sure if you can do an overdraft with a savings account, i know you can get one for your checking. But ya you can use a debit card with paypal, nate does it.
I use a debit card and never have a prob. Don't most checking accounts have that 400 thing, where you can go have as low as -400 in your account before you get a charge?

That is pretty messed up. Paypal has terrible customer support, so getting you 75 dollars back will be hard, but I think you should try.
i already tried, at least there call center isnt in India anymore. I remember i had to call a couple of times and the peoples accent was so bad i could hardly understand them.
