Fruit and Vegetable Shopping

is one of my favourite activities.



Except when I was walking past the Brantford Naval Hall on the way back, these three men in their late fifties/early sixties started whistling/trying to talk to me,etc. and it made me uncomfortable.

But the guy at the checkout had dreads and was really hot. So that made it worth it.

And the strawberries and peaches. Those redeemed the having to deal with dirty old men too

 

lol well if ye come to the grocery store in my city to buy fruits & vegetables you, i might just pack yer bags

 

that is totally the kind of old man i want to be.

If I had my dad go with me, it wouldn't have happened... He probably knew the guys anyways because they're around his age and he was in the navy for a couple years (solely to travel ).

But I love grocery shopping by myself...

my dad said he seriously thought he wouldn't make it to 50... he had one of those reckless crazy "oh hand me that drug over there will you? .. no no.. i want the booze too " kind of lifestyles for a good twenty five years aaaaha. between that and living all over the place, yeah.

Wow, strawberries sound amazing right now... but I'm making condensed soup, so... well, there's nothing to brag about when it comes to condensed soup.

I'd hate being a hot girl, having to deal with all of those creepy old guys (and young guys, too, of course). That'd be terrible... really uncomfortable, I imagine.

My daddio and I were out on the trail walking for a good hour or two today... I was DYING for strawberries or blueberries or something... And I was completely broke and complaining how I needed to buy berries hhah.

Then I got home and my wonderful (and generous) brother comes up with his hands behind his back and goes "Pick a hand" and then he gave me twenty bucks outta the blue

So of COURSE, I had to buy berries and a buncha other fruits and veggies. I got limes and grapefruits, and we have tequila So you KNOW I"m totally making margaritas
