I remember when I was young and I would be heading out for a fun filled action packed night on the town. Now I'm sitting at home waiting for the apple sauce I made to cook down. Just wait you'll get old too.

Ha, regardless of what you say your still sitting at home on a Friday night.

 

I'm already old, but I'll get way older than either of you.

 

I don't have any friends here, so I ate the brownies out of a carton of Ben and Jerry's frozen yogurt and put the rest in the freexer.
dinner of champs...and chubby, bored girls holed up in small towns without friends.

 

I spent most of the night in a pissy mood. But I ate chocolate chip pancakes...so it makes me feel not so old.

 

you could do what my grandpa used to do when he was bored and lonely

I am going to smoke a bowl, wash my husband's gym clothes (he is at work) and finish sewing my pouch to hold my paint...
I am also holding my stomach in, in 2 minute intervals. I realized I have not held my stomach in since I got married and now my stomach muscles are weak and flabby.

This is only like the third time i have ever done his laundry. His gym back was int he laundry room, so I threw them in the washing machine.
He actually always cleans up after himself and a lot of times after me, even though I only work part-time.
We're a team though...so if I see his gym bag and know he needs gym clothes I'm not going to leave it there.
Even if I did do his laundry often I would be proud of that. I have it really good and would do his laundry if he ever wanted me to. i have no problem being subservient to my husband.

 

I'll post a picture. I have a lot of tubes of paint and wanted a fun bag to keep them in. I also wanted to practice making a bag because I want to make a clutch with duponi silk and a cute print.

nope, he has no problem being subservient to me when I need something either. We're equals in different ways. It's beautiful and harmonious.
To be honest, the shortage of medicade funds in nevada cut back drastically on my hours. I think i worked 10 hours this week. My husband offered and paid every bill we had last month and paid the 900 dollars I owed on one of my student loans that went in collection before we met. It makes me feel really bad about myself that I don't have the ability to pay half the bills, even though I am not expected to.
So instead...I play the spoiled wife role. Instead of making me seem incompetent, it makes me feel and appear charmed and loved. It becomes a choice rather than a lack of opportunity in my field here.

My wife hasn't worked in 3 years which is cool cuz I don't have to wait for her to get off work if we want to go do something.

 

I haven’t worked since ‘83 or ‘84. My wife works and pays all the bills including college tuition for our two sons.

In my own defense though, I was a full-time house husband and then full-time Mr. Mom so that wife could climb the corporate ladder.

I thought I had it good only working 5 months out of the year, but I think I'd rather work than have to keep the house clean.

 

Cleaning house and cooking is easy. Being a mom is not easy!
