In My Experience, Beanies Just Don't Work...:(.

Toss And Turn A Few Times, And The Bloody Thing Comes Off.

What Has Worked For Me Is Simple, Just Take A Pure Wool Sweater,

Or Pullover *depending what country you come from* And Slip It Over

    Your Pillow.:).

Trust Me It Works, The More You Toss And Turn, The More It Helps

    Your Dreads.:D.

Oh......And Before I Forget, Welcome To The Dready Section Of The

    "Hip Forums"...:).

    Cheers Glen.

back combd, then twisted them around pipe cleaners, put some perming stuff in my hair and rinsted it out after awhile, dryd it, then put neutralizer in it, then washd it out after awhile, then took the pipe cleaners out, dryd it and then put dread wax in it.

    What the fuck?

I've never heard of pipe cleaners being used!!

Please don't brush them out. The chances that the permer has fucked up your hair already are high [I have more experience with permer than I care to say. IE I had a perm when I was 14].

WTF is neutraliser? Odor neutraliser? I hope not.

    Stop waxing. Now.

All you really needed was to backcomb

    / of dreading

They don't look too bad though.

When I Was Checking Out The Various Methods, Perm Solution And Pipe

Cleaners Were Suggested To Me Many Times.

I Guess The Idea Is To Twist Around The Cleaner, Then Add Perming

Solution, Then When The Effect Of The Solution Wears Off, The Hair Is

    Set Up *shaped* To Dread....:).

Stick Around Gazza 95, And Lets See What Happens In The Next Few

    Months.....:).

    Cheers Glen.

this is weird. I'd wash the hell out of my hair and then wash some more. Then I would do nothing.

    Wow.

Why did you do all that stuff to your hair?

Dreads are natural man, you don't need to do anything to get them.

If I were you, I would wash my hair in extremely hot water and try to scrub out everything that you put in it.

Hairdressers are FAR worse than doin' it yourself. I bet she's told you to go back every month and spend ooohhh let me see $90 on maintenance?

Don't go back. They'll dread fine on their own. I got mine done at a salon. They were all you MUST come back every month. It'll be £50 everytime you need something doing.

I never went back of course and they are now mighty fine dreads. Wash weekly starting from now, they'll look like shit for a good while but the end results are superb.
