I know you're supposed to have weird dreams when you're pregnant, but this is freaking me out.
I keep having dreams (like, weekly) that I get drunk and forget that I'm pregnant. It's the weirdest thing, especially since I'm not a big drinker in the first place. Hell, I hate alcohol (sp?)...I might drink the odd beer at a family bbq or something like that.
But yeah, in the dreams, I eventually realize what I have done and start to freak out that I did something to my baby. When I wake up I feel sick to my stomach and have to coax myself into remembering that I haven't touched a drop of alcohol since I've been pregnant, and yet I still feel awful. I don't know why this keeps happening. It's always the same kinda dream and always involves me getting drunk! I never had dreams like this when I was pregnant with Lea Lea...the worst one I had with her was that I went to bed and left her sleeping out in the livingroom.

When I was pregnant with my son my recurrent pregnancy nightmare was that I would walk into a public bathroom & set the baby down in the carseat thingie and then walk out forgetting them there. NEVER happened. Never even KIND of happened. But I lost more sleep over that than anything!

With my daughter, I constantly dreamed of her falling down & breaking her arm. Turns out she DID do that when she was 2 1/2... but it was a freaky accident & I figure now she'll just have to grow up perfect since my worst nightmare's already come true ;)
    love,

I had the exact same dream when I was pregnant with my triplets, the only difference is that I liked to drink before any of my kids were born, but I quit before I starting trying to get pregnant. I had the same recurring dream a few times where I thought to myself that a couple of beers won't hurt the babies, but then 10 or 15 beers later I would wake up. I also had to tell myself when I woke up that I didn't drink or do anything wrong, but the dreams were just so realistic that it scared me to death. I even asked my husband several times if I drank the night before.

I don't have any advice for you as far as why the dreams are happening, but just know that you are not alone and your not crazy. :)

lol, yeah, I wasn't really looking for advice...just wanted to share the bizzare dreams! It's scarry how realistic they are! I have had to do the same thing about asking my hubby if i drank at all and was in a daze or something! I keep feeling this guilt like I have, and yet I stayed completely clear of the stuff!
