High-fidelity entangling gates connect remote superconducting quantum processors

A hundred and fifty years ago, Dr Frankenstein had trouble finding electrical parts but, today, they all want super-cooled super-conducting super parts. The Chinese found a stupid cheap way to connect all their circuitry to produce a full-scale quantum computer out of entangled distributed parts. The latest research indicates you might want two computers ganged together, so you can use dimension squeezing for efficiency in one, and improve the noise in the other computer.

Anywho, this is a fun example of how labs around the world are spending ridiculous money on all these super-cooled computers, just as people like Meta are assembling millions of graphics cards. This, despite the fact all the evidence has indicated you can make a quantum computer out of just about anything, including biological waste for all I know.

Interesting developments. I wonder if it all stemmed from Dr Frankenstein

Haven't you realized our brains are quantum computers, just very slow buggy ones? And they run ok at room temperature too. No need to supercool anything, although there are certain substances that can moderate and enhance your personal quantum computer experience.

Just think, if they create a great brain that never needs to rest, has untold power available and is linked to everything and everyone, ingesting every comment, photo, video humanity has posted in the last couple of decades as well as all human history.

Now imagine it absorbing all this and developing a serious psychological complex, one perhaps including the thoughts and fantasies of individuals depressed, angry, racist, violent, etc. that it has integrated as it attempts to understand and behave more human... That's what people expect, right?

Instead of saving us from ourselves, AI will instead doom us to a fate worse than an eternal Trump dictatorship.

There's nothing wrong with our brains, its the software. Half of reality is taboo, because our cultures all demand it but, with 8 billion people in the world today, its becoming impossible to keep censoring half of reality. Totally unsustainable, in no small part, due to classic logic itself beginning to fall apart. We've taken metaphysics as far as they go, without reformulating fuzzy logic as how logic and humor express particle-wave duality.

Basically, the truth itself is demonstrably up to 125% efficient, in the world all around us, because some jokes make just too much damn sense, and academia would rather shit a brick than admit it.
