Today me and my buddy were out hunting and found a dead man.. im having a hard time trying to sleep and feel paranoid. anyone know anything that would help with this sort of thing? Im the kid in the video.. http://news.yahoo.com/video/pittsburghkdka-15751084/body-found-in-natrona-heights-23704040
It Obviously Had Nothing To Do With You Or Your Hunting Buddy, You Both Just Stumbled Upon It. After A Day Or So It Will Be Clearer To You That By Being There And Finding The Guy, You Have Helped To Clear Up A Police Matter, And Give The Lady In The Video "Closure". Get Yourself A Good Nights Sleep, All Will Be Much Clearer In The Morning:sunny:. Cheers Glen.
dont even worry...the dudes ghost couldnt possibly be pissed at you...the only thing is maybe if it was a murder and the murderers saw you and think you saw them...probably not though.....a sleepless night isnt all that hard to take...put some garlic and a gun under your pillow...maybe that will help?
I would have taken pictures with it and shit. Unless there was a known killer in the woods I wouldn't have been that scared.
thanks everybody who posted, i got some lolz and i feel a little better. earlier when we found it i was fine but now that im alone it really hit me and i can still see the dudes face.. im gonna try to get some sleep
no, thats what i was telling my friend. i almost feel mad that they didnt thank me for finding him when im like kind of traumatized by all this. kind of fucked up my head when i turned around and there was this dead guy looking at me.. i feel better today but its still some fucked up shit though
They probably have not come to grips themselves with the possibility of it being their loved one. It takes time to settle and be confirmed and they probably were holding out hope that he was alive. It will take time to put this in perspective for you, it is not everyday that a person finds a body. You are also probably still in shock and what you are feeling is a normal thing. Time, probably all that is going to make the image fade a little but I think that you will never be able to forget it, instead you will be able to put it where it should be mentally. Sorry that you had to be the one to find the body but thankfully for the family you did.
yeah. it bothered me because i wasnt mentally prepared for it. like if i knew i was going to see a dead body id be okay with it but its kind of the last thing i ever expected to see in the woods and i turned around and there he was..
Usually at night is when most people try to unwind and settle in and that is the time the brain thinks and runs in circles if you have things on your mind. Maybe for the next while you should try to change your pattern a little at night so that sleep is easier for you. Do something a little different but something you enjoy so that you do not just sit or lay and think. Hope it gets better for you fairly soon as it is a stressful situation.
according to the video it hasn't been confirmed that it was his body...has it since then? also it sounds like he wasnt all beat up with chopped off appendages, but i'd probably be in the same boat as you-terrified. when you find out cause of death things might be easier for you, perhaps it was a stroke... lesson learned: do not hunt!!! (kidding, kind of) good luck dude
no it was deffinitely him, they just didnt quote unquote confirm it yet. from what i heard the cops saying, he went to get cigarettes and never came back, and that was like last thursday.. and the cops went through where we were hunting with dogs like on saturday, so shows you how good a job the dogs do. im not blaming the dogs im saying the people that trained them.
This reminds me of that time me and my friend went outside in a bad neighborhood in the middle of the night and went into the woods without a flashlight. We didn't even get far before we ran out because we we're scared of finding a dead body...
