Hi, I'd just like to say to everyone I've actually stopped smoking weed now.
Basically I stopped because it was making me incredibly lazy, costing loads of hard earned money and also the enjoyment just went out of it.

I would never preach to people who want to smoke it, to stop. That's their business.

But for everyone who is contemplating giving up but thinks it will be hard, trust me - I found it a million times easier than I imagined.

At times I still find myself wanting a little toke now and again, but that's been over 3 months since I smoked my last joint and I can honestly say I don't miss it one bit.

I've never felt better, emotionally, physically, finanically lol!

I quit recently too, for me it's mostly a money thing, but I'm also extremely vulnerable to the munchies, and I tend to gain weight very quickly when I'm on binges and get out of shape very fast. I also hate how the next morning you feel all groggy and irritable until you smoke some more again (and if youre like me you spend half the day on the toilet because of all you ate last night).

I tell myself i'm going to stick with just acid, shrooms, dxm for now, but I don't think I could ever give up marijuana forever. I'll just buy bulk of the best strain I can get, and maybe aim for . . . once a week?

I was weed-free for six months at some point after being a regular smoker for almost two years. Why would it be hard to get rid of weed in the first place? Wouldn't that mean you're addicted?

meh, been sober for 3 days, and that's only because I've been sick. I wouldn't ever quit unless I had to. as soon as this sore throat of mine goes away I'm tokin' away!

Uhm, when you're technically abusing it and get extremely lazy and unproductive it doesn't enlighten you very much or stimulate your creativity anymore. You can also enlighten yourself and be creative without smoking pot, by the way.

You need weed for creativity and enlightenment? That's sad. Don't diss on him cause he don't wanna smoke anymore it is his decision.

The beginning days are rough may I add; possibility of irritation, sleeplessness, frequent wake ups, bla mood, headaches, boredom, but it just seems to disappear so damn quick :). 3 days usually for me to overcome the blah state.. and a positive mindset helps the solution even more. Don't make yourself believe you need it if you are trying to quit.

I'm going on 4 days fresh and I already feel better. But I can't wait to smoke again when I'm ready.

    Peace
