a little timeline for my dreads.
I got dread on cinqo de mayo... of 2007 3 days before I found out I was preggers with my son (useless info)
Anyhoo.




So no, wax didn't ruin my dreads... I stopped using it once they were well on their way to being secure. and I used to root flip
now I'm just neglecting because I love them sooo much they are perfect in my eyes... YAY!

nope memorial for the day I lost twins. the foot prints in the ying yang are life size... they were tiny babes...

uh thanks... it was totally easy if you know how to braid hemp. just instead on the inside lines I used the dread. It was tight to the scalp when I placed it and it has grown down pretty far.

 

I'm really sorry to hear about your twins. That is an amazing tattoo. What does it say at the top of it?

And on a lighter note, your dreads look great It's good to see that waxing them didn't mess them up or anything like that

 

i do know how to braid hemp. but did you tie the strings into it or something? cause usually the inside string (dread) is tied to the outsides. - idk

 

yup.... just looped it around the root and knotted it then went to town... its been there for a while...
