FSM is quite the alternative belief! I cant say Im NOT a believer, but I havent had the revelations some others have with the great pasta.

Was there a South Park with it? I musta missed that one somewhere.

Southpark is the absolute pit of stupidity
A BLACK pit of fart/bottom jokes that tries to be clever with the
    occasional socal issue.

The simpsons drops a load on southpark.

Elmer fud drops his load on southpark. it's that far down the shitter.

There was a south park episode on atheism and the teaching of evolution in public schools, Where Mr/Mis garrison oversimplifies the theory of evolution and calls god a flying spaghetti monster.
http://www.allsp.com/ <season 10 episodes "go god go" and "go god go XII"

I love South Park. Some episodes are pretty pointless but still entertaining and other episodes are absolutely brilliant! They are some of the most refreshingly insightful social commentaries of our times. I applaud the writers ability to push the envelope and expose things for what they really are. I'm not one of those geeks that knows actual episode names and numbers but I'll point out a few of my favorites: They should win an award for exposing psychics in the John Edwards is a Douchebag episode, the way Stan explained cold reading was dead on! The commentary about the Iraq war controversy and America having its cake and eating it too was right on the money. The Scientology exposed episode was priceless right down to the credits. The head lice world episode, I almost cried! The wall Mart monster! The starving Ethiopian and Sally Struthers glutton! NAMBLA !!! The unsuspecting sexually abusive scout leader! They took our Jobs!! Mohammed Censored - I loved it!!! The douche or shit sandwich vote! And the future atheists turning into fighting religious factions because of human nature… all of these episodes are brilliant commentaries. Oh and the Make love not warcraft was also priceless!

i like relevant satire that uses shock and hyperbole to exam the american consciousness.
but it's not for everyone i suppose.

ever see those racist old looney toon cartoons they made during the war, i'm pretty sure elmer was a nazi...

and to the op. i'm a discordian, but the FSM is a great religion. may you be blessed by his noodly appendage.
