Simply put. What was your first experience with LSD? Was it the first psychedelic you tried? Would you have changed anything? How did it change you if at all?
My first experience with LSD was on 2 hits of purple blotters. I came up to this view and spent the first half of my trip up on this hill overlooking San Francisco listening to The Beatles, Pink Floyd and Shpongle. I felt like I was floating over the city in these various grids in the sky and the 3 friends I was with who just smoked weed that evening, I felt like I had known my whole life and 2 of them I had only been friends with for about a year, the other I had known since I was in grade school but had just started becoming really good friends with him for about a year as well. The time dialation was extremely pronounced and I felt my thoughts cascading from one to the next at an extremely rapid pace. I spent the second half of the trip with a different friend who was going to a party and I definitely noticed a difference between the stoners and the drinkers but someone had a guitar there and was playing some Red Hot Chili Peppers and other music which was pretty cool, so I watched for a bit but after awhile the party wasn't so much my scene. the people were hospitable though and they let me trip out on a couch for awhile without really bothering me too much. I recall looking at this marble kitchen counter and all the indentations and specks of color in the marble glistened, formed eyes and raised to make triangular shapes. People's faces became distorted to my amusement, like one of my friends growing whiskers like a cat. At one point as I was in the car with my friend under the freeway underpass there was this area of ivy on the wall but then the ivy twisted, grew and consumed the underpass while in synchronicity with the music playing in the car. This was my second trip, I had taken shrooms prior to this trip once. The trip wasn't as personally revelatory as my following trip on 3 hits would be, however the scenery, sensory effects, visuals and company were pretty spectacular and I'm glad I decided to start off on 2 hits instead of a smaller amount and I'm not sure given the settings, I would have been able to handle 3 hits so it was a ideal dose. I experienced music in some amazing ways that night and getting to hear all kinds of music, even live music, made me feel fortunate.
My first time with acid wasn't all that special. I had gotten a few hits on a school night to save for the weekend, but in all my haste to try it out I ended up eating half of one that night. It was a nice trip. I just sat around the house and chilled, and I got to sleep after maybe 6 or 7 hours, but I definitely felt the effects and it was a good soft introduction to acid.
The first psychedelic I tried were some mushies when I was 15, I had the worst trip of my life and at the same time the best. I really got into deeper life meaning and questioned what the world was about. A lot of Floyd, Grateful Dead and Phish that summer lol. I felt alot better about who I was and thought alot more about my life because of it. As far as the Acid goes I just got a few hits and tripped, it was fun but no where near as special as the shrooms were for me. Happy tripping
My first psychedelic experience was off one tab of LSD. Haha not enough for visuals but it was a great feeling of innocence and free spirit. I when's to the beach and walked along the shore. I went in for a swim whenever I felt a calling. It took me a good three years to find someone with a connection. But adter all that time reading on the subject I was ready. I immediatly after bought 30 hits of the stuff an went on to explore with different doses with different friends. It was a great feeling when I was in possession and I treated it as a sacrament much like priests do the bread and wine of catholasism. My first real full trip was off two of those blotters and when I was there man! I knew it as I was welcomed by everything with fear and fascination. I instantly began to practice communication with plants that seemed to dance and praise me with energy. It's an amazing feeling especially guiding people out of bad trips or downers. I've since aquired a new respect and a connection to nature and the spirit world. I've dropped as many as 5 hits but have yet to experience complete ego loss. Again all my experience with LSD has been off the same batch. My last trip was by far the most profound and values trip. If your up to it I have a trip report just posted. My first experience with LSD was over last summer with my best friend. It was 15 a tab so we only took one each. The visuals were nothing special but it was my first trip so I was still entertained. I took my tab at around 1 and he took his about 2. This was on the canal path and we had to walk a bit of a way to get to my dad's house. By the time I got there I knew it was really working. The clock on the mantle had been broken in an earthquake before I was born, but when I looked at it, the hands were all over the place. The other thing I remember is a picture of mountains on the living room wall, but the clouds were changing colors and moving. I went outside and spent a good amount of time meditating, then listened to some jazz inside. Then we decided to go for a walk down the canal path. It was kind of a hot day but we didn't mind that much. I picked up this really beautiful leaf that was bright green fading into bright orange and yellow. Everything just looked really beautiful. We discussed briefly how much of a tragedy it was that LSD was so stigmatized and we couldn't just be honest about our experience to other people. It wasn't my first psychedelic, as I had done salvia before that on a whim with the same friend, but it was my first real psychedelic experience. Since then I haven't been able to get a hold of any real acid which is a bit of a bummer. If I were to change one thing, it would be that I kind of blabbed about it too much and my dad ended up finding out. However I was 18 at the time and he is a very fair and open-minded person and he said he would let me do what I want if I promised to tell my brother I am done with it and kept it a private matter. It definitely changed me in that it made me more tolerant and accepting of things and also gave me some creative inspiration. I wrote this tune that summer. my first time taking LSD was with a girl i was "hanging out with" at the time, her sister, and this hippie guy we had met the previous weekend at a local music festival. i took one white blotter. i remember listening to 311 (my favorite band at the time) while laying on the stairs, and just LOVING it. i remember we all went for a walk to the convenience store...barefoot. the girl and i stopped in a baseball field and laid in the grass looking at the sky. honestly i don't remember it all that well, but i remember liking it a lot wasn't my first psychedelic, i had eaten shrooms once (maybe more) and tried salvia unsuccessfully twice.
My first time was a few years ago. I wanted to make sure it was a full experience so I did 4 hits. I was sitting there for two hours with nothing happening, and then I said when is this gonna hit me, and then bam!, just like that it hit like a ton of bricks. I watched my hairs grow up and down, and then I drove down the street and it was like a video game. Then I went home and I watched my self melt into the kitchen floor. Then I rolled around in a loop of oh this is awesome Im tripping, to their is no meaning to life, life is pointless. Rolling around from bliss to agony to bliss. Also had a lot of super thoughts during the night. Over all good first experience with it.
I know this is a "first time" thread, but my third date with Lucy was with Novexus here. We were already bestfriends, but it bonded us forever. I really look at her as even more of a sister now. She is an amazing trip buddy, and the best friend I could have. Her soul is beautful. We make references ALL THE TIME.

First time I did acid was when my mother's commune all gave me pieces of their blue pyramid acid on my 16th birthday. They also gave me a crystal ball and a Yeager tarot deck. Two communes pitched in money for them. A few of us saw a dragon in the crystal ball. I hallucinated a squid with everyone in the room on it's tentacles like puppets. It later inspired a Cthulhu like fiction story called Europa Dreams that i wrote. While I was hallucinating I thought he was talking to me through music and that I was a priestess from another life. I was hearing songs like Whiter Shade of Pale, Ruby Tuesday, Fleetwood mac Dreams, Mamas and Papas Gemini child, Seatrain 13 Questions, Moody Blues albums, Pink Floyd Dark side of the Moon, Best of Donovan, Al Stewart Year of the Cat, Traffic Mr Fantasy album, and Stairway to heaven, on the stereo, played by different people in the 2 communes that threw my party. I was born in mid May on a Tuesday so it felt pretty cosmic that night. In Vietnamese astrology I was born in the year of the cat. I will never forget that acid trip. It was so disappointing when I woke up the next day realizing I was not a special high priestess who was getting cosmic messages through music lol.:sunny: Fantasy is so alive on acid. It was the best birthday I ever had.
I remember reading up and watching documentaries for months on end about acid. I was in high school at the time, and it just didn't seem plausible to get acid (um.. Turns out, high school is a hotspot for nearly any drug.. Ha) I had a Good friend I talked to, and that's when I first tried weed. My friend had a couple kids join us and I talked to them about my interest in acid. At the time I thought that was a unique interest, but to my surprise they had tripped many times. Then just a couple weeks later I had my first 3 tabs in a scrap of tin foil. I decided to trip by myself the first time, I took all 3 of those tabs some weekend night. It was very.. Interesting.. Not pure euphoria, but I loved my first experience. I started by popping up an iTunes visualizer and listening to my favorite bands. Radiohead had recently released their latest album which for some reason came with a sheet of blotter paper (not dosed of course) so I felt obligated to listen to it! Haha as a huge fan of theirs I was in love with all the melodies, I'm sure this happens with ther people's music, but I heard melodies within melodies I've never heard before in all of their work. The lyrics that never meant much to me circulated in my head "you're living in a fantasy" "everything in its right place" this started to become too strong for me to handle so I walked around a little bit. I remember feeling a strong connection to this idea: we are one collective conscious simultaneously capturing and molding the universe in our image. And I both loved this and hated this, it feels magical to Phatom it, but then you think how you are also that person killing people, robbing, the person putting your own ideas in the trash. Love was even twisted when you think that one entity is pleasuring itself. I could write a book for every minute of thoughts I had. And now, 2 years fom my first trip, I still learn from its experience. Very foundational from my transition into my current life. I can't believe I was liberal enough to try that 2 years ago, it really makes me wonder how I went from smoking weed twice to dropping acid in a week without having smoked a cig or getting drunk beforehand. LSD was a very literal transition to a new life. I wish everyone could have such an experience
Best night of my life. Wouldnt have changed absaloutly anything. I had only been drunk and high. And now those things don't appeal to me nearly as much after LSD.
Before I took acid for the first time, I had taken shrooms once before, and tripped on salvia a few times and DXM It wasn't totally mindblowing, because I bought it at a party (just one hit). But it was definitely an experience. I was with my friend and it was his first time tripping as well, so it was a really good time. Just like exploring things and sharing our experience with each other, best way to take a new drug imo
My first experience was on my birthday camping with my 2 buddies in the summer, my friend bought these microdot LSD capsules which we didnt really know much about, we hadnt bothered to do proper research (silly us) so ended up taking double the dose we intended to as we thought it hadnt worked,to start with it was wierd as it was night time but after an hour it turned into the best night of my life. after my friend who wasnt tripping went to sleep we sat by this lake for around 4 hours just talking,watching planes go across the sky (there were no clouds of light pollution) and we saw about 5 shooting stars. Was THE best night of my life. It was also the first time i listened to any beatles and magical mystery tour has a place in my heart now forever.
