i've been thinking about getting dreads for a few months and the time is right. Could i get some tips to prep my hair/body before i do it? I'm planning on using Backcombing, my hair is around 5-6 inches long.
just any tips on what specific stuff to do the week before; washing, etc.

    Water causes mold.
