First snow

Its coming down fast too. We're supposed to get 12 cm today. I love snow.

 

ooooh SNOW!!!!

It's still 50-60 degrees here and it's going to hit 70 this weekend...

I like the winter... I like the fall too... I love autumn, but I love winter... Summer is nice, but it's nothing like Autumn and Winter, plus in spring and summer I have too many allergies and it's hard to put up with. In the fall, I may only get hay fever. You tend to wonder how much Benedryl you've consumed in your entire life, how much money you spent on it total in your entire life.

 

Snow is awesome, it just makes me feel all warm in cozy inside. It brings me back to the times when I was a child, playing in the snow all afternoon, the sweet smell of pine trees, and intoxicating crisp, coolness of the air, coming back in the house with cold, rosy cheeks, how the snow brightened up the house in the morning when you awoke so that you knew it had snowed during the night, even if you hadn't even looked out the window to see it yet.

I love to play outside in the snow with my kids, and I always make sure I have a pot of hot cocoa waiting on the stove and a peppermint stick for stirring when we come back inside. Of course, they love that.

I hate driving in snow, but watching a snowfall is a beautiful site.

I think I love every season when I think about it. *lol* I can find beauty in all of them, because they're all just so amazing in their own way.

 

It snowed here a little last week, but it was melted by noon.

 

for some reason cold weather makes me feel sad, i really have no idea why. thats why i generally hate the onset of fall and winter. snow can be really beautiful whens its the right temp for it, but when it snows and it gets all slushy and dirty, thats just ugly.

 

I hate snow...it's wet and cold. We never get more than an inch or 2 here (if we get any at all) and then it all turns to slush, and all we have left is a big cold muddy mess.

 

I hate snow and winter and cold weather in general....I like the snowboarding part of it, but thats it. Summer rules all

 

Oh, I can't wait til it snows here....I am going to build snowmen, make angels, and go sledding...I love love love winter!

 

Snowboarding & Skiing & Snowtubing & Ice skating is so much fun...snow is great...hot chocolate by the fire...hot soups...sledding...building snowmans...snowball fights...roasted chestnuts, you can't do all that in the summer...

 

Yes but you cant dance around naked with water hoses in the winter

But George, its just not as fun indoors as it is in the sun and the grass with other people around and water hoses. Altho I wouldn't know, 'tis just a dream of mine....
Someday that dream will come true! Like next summer!!

 

Summer and Winter are the best seasons.

Fall and Spring, they are just too indesicive. Just pick one extreme and run with it... that's what I do.

 

Don't forget the mosquitoes and other stinging insects....nothing better than an itchy bare bottom.

 

Ya know....there was no mosquitoes here at all this year. Wonder whats in the water...
