i dig it..it makes me stop and ponder its meaning..like, wtf are those robots doing to those mushrooms? is it a metaphor for industrialization ending the childlike innocence that mushrooms give us? Is it meant to say that robots can enjoy mushrooms too? I think they can. i think everybody can enjoy mushrooms.

lol...anyways. i really like it, i agree about the blending in the background..its beautiful

 

yea, oil paints are the shit. the background started out as my attempt to do a bob ross. but then the blending just kind of took over.

 

there is no meaning. but i do agree, robots can enjoy mushrooms. thats why the one is smiling. the other was forced into this position of picking mushrooms because of his social class. he doesnt like mushrooms because he has never had a good trip. so he has thoughts of mutiny radiating from his eyes.

 

This painting probably wont help those of us who are scared of robots...

i like the way it makes me think.... those robots seem familiar too which is kinda eerie... looking forward to seeing it finished... :2thumbsup:
