First DXM trip

Well, today I had my first DXM trip (or any trip, for that matter). A couple of friends and I bought a bottle of Robotussin Ultra-strength cough gels and ate them up. We set off for home at that point. I had about 200mg from the bottle, and another 150 at my house. I was thinking that 350mg would be good for a first timer.

A couple of hours went by, and all I felt was sick. I started walking around and noticed that I was acting like a complete drunk. I was sort of angry because I was hoping to get to a higher plateau, where I could meditate and draw and stuff. Little did I know that this part was soon to come...

About an hour and a half into the trip, I started noticing that the walls were kind of breathing, along with the plants in my room. I turned on AcidWarp, popped in some Pink Floyd and Lord of the Rings music, and tuned out. After watching AcidWarp for a while I closed my eyes and noticed that this was more exciting to do than keeping my eyes open. I decided to draw a picture and it turned out amazing... There's a whole bunch of random shrooms and waves and things, along with 1/2 of a face with a curving staircase as his hair. Pretty sweet.

Next... I played some guitar. I turned on some weird effects on my amp, turned off the lights, and started playing Little Wing by Hendrix. I had to stop halfway through because instead of just hearing the music, I felt it. Actually, I didn't really feel it... I just can't explain it really.

All in all, I thought it was a great experience. My dose was pretty small because I was a little worried about losing control, but I didn't run into any problems. I'm sorta tall and skinny, so could that have been why I had such a strong trip on such little DXM?

P.S. Should I be worried about using DXM? I buy the kind that ONLY has DXM as the active ingredient, but it just seems sketchier than using LSD or shrooms. I'm hoping on trying those too, for mind expansion and meditation.

 

somwhere i read that dxm is worse for hppd than even lsd...


iv heard alot of bad stories now, about dxm... it fucks peoples lives more than ANY other drug iv seen... i mean, if you do it a few times its enough to drop out of school... it just makes learning and living soo diffucult...

then even when you stop, your brain is fried for months...
not to mention, you feel sickly depressed all the time... you see blobs and sparks every couple of minits...

i did it twice this term, (nothing i know)... but its been 3 weeks since i did it, and im still not back in "reality"... studying or doing work is like impossible... the shcool had a interview with me and my parents cause i was pretty weird at the time... Nothing good has come of it, for me...
i just cant wait to feel my normal self again, and look back at this as the shittest crapest drug of all time...
trully and honestly go do ice, or fuckin cocaine... (better for you) hahaa, probably not, but thats how i feeeelll..,.. dxm sucks....
now i see blobs and sparks of colours and colours around my colar and weird shit every couple of minits, and streaks of colour race across my vision, and enormous drips that drip from the ceiling (its kinda cool now, but if this persisted for years, it would constantly remind me of my "stupid" ways as a kid

after the 300mg dose i did, i was still happy and things were still "ok"...
but after the 600mg , nothing has been the same...
so, its up to you kid... but i recomend you stop at that 350mg dose.... and stick to other drugs.... go shoot heroin for all i care, but dont take dxm... ahaha

i felt good after it, its put me in a tranquil place for the week after ive done it, the most noticed perceptual change was that ever since then, things start to warp. like my vision. little warps in perception, wall breathing, etc. i spent ages after it started, just sitting looking at a wall and getting it to warp while not on drugs. awesome.

but then i dont go around telling people DXM is awesome. let people see for themselves, cut the bullshit anecdotes, good advice should be objective, not spewing with bias from personal experience

 

Yeah, I don't think I'll be doing it much more, if at all... It just seems so unnatural and dangerous at times, and if you get the wrong medicine, who knows...

Day after: I'm perfectly normal, and pretty happy. The only evidence of even tripping is that it's sort of hard to concentrate on the computer screen, and televisions... They just seem so strange to be staring into.

 

It seems that DXM has alot of adverse after effects, some poeple dont complain, but when asked it seems almost everyone I know who does DXM regularly has had problems with it in some way. If you have a very strong mind, and body for that matter (seeing how some get very sick) and you want to explore the world with a new perspective, then try some DXM. At 300mg-500mg doses it makes life have a strange aspect to it, I honestly love the high, although waiting for the high with an uncomfortable stomach is never fun, and having to go to the washroom lots during you're trip is NEVER fun, but what do you do eh?

I know some people have problems peeing on certain syrups, I find that people change alot after heavy DXM use, like there closed off a bit from everyone.

If anyone can handle Angel Dust, or Kedamine, LSD or heavy doses of psyclobin then they probaly can mentaly handle DXM too, but can you're body?

after the first time i took 600mg, i woke up and all the skin around my eyes had retained so much fluid that i looked 5 years younger, asian, and a little bit like that deformed guy in the movie with CHer, 'rocky' or whatever his name was

it faded over the week

i had to go to school like that

can you imagine how hard it is to explain how your face changes so radically overnight that people dont recognise you?

but ive never heard of it happening, and it didnt happen the next time i tried it. i dont go around telling people their face will inflate when they try it

 

Alright, heres what I have to say ... I have only done DMX two times ... last week I did it two nights in a row. Keep in mind this was my first time tripping, ever. The first night was amazing. I felt like I was dreaming, but I was totally awake ... I was listening to some really good music, and overall I had a great time. It seemed like it ended to suddenly though. So that's why I decided to dose it up again the next night. Same thing ... really relaxed, placid, dreamlike expirience. The only negative I would throw in is that when I had to take a piss I had a pretty hard time walking ... like my legs wouldn't move the way my mind wanted them too ... ha ha. But it was a good time. And I had no after affects at all. and that's after two nights in a row. It really affects different people in different ways. :H

 

Ha ha ... yeah that's normal bro ... before I quit smoking I would go through a few packs when I was tripping. Now I just drink alot and eat alot ... ha ha

dont get the liquid, its sick. if your gonna do it use the pills. thats waht i got. i liked my 300 mg experiances but i trieed 600 mg once and smoke some weed and one second im watching the CEV and next im sitting on a toilet in my friends house shiting, barf everywhere and like 3 hours had passed. i was real fucked up and couldnt even talk. anyone else had these black outs? thats why i dont do DXM anymore. but it might have been because it got boosted alot y the weed i smoked
