SO today I had first band practice with my new band. We jammed on Dazed and Confused(led zeppelin version), in-da-gadda-da-vidda, and sunshine of your love. Then we decided to just jam. The drummer played a beat, the bassiest played a rythem and I came up with something on guitar. We did this three times and it had this Echos(pink floyd song) feel to it. It sounded do good a friend of mine was walking by my house walked in and told us it sounded really cool and asked if he could stay and listen.

Sounds like fun! Keep it up, and try to record yourself so we can hear.

Sounds fuckin awesome man! Sunshine of your love and in-a-gadda-da-vida happen to be a couple of my favorite songs to jam to on guitar! Well, actually, in-a-gadda-da-vida I can't really jam to, because I cant figure out the last part of the chourus! I can get it until it like changes from the

    e-------------------
    B-------------------
    G-------------------
    D--------------7-6-5
    A-5-5-8-7-3-5------
    E-------------------

(those who don't know gutar tabs probably have absolutely NO idea what I just typed...)
but I can't figure out what happens after that. Would you pleas be so kind as to share that with me? Also, do you know what key the song is in? Well, having jammed to it, I assume you DO know... I could probably figure that out, but I am being to lazy to think about a lot of theory right now...

But a good choice of songs to jam to! Also, just straight up jamming is fun too! When I just jam to no particulat song playing lead, everything I play usually has a bluesy sound to it, which I suppose is my evolving style.
