I have been a long time fan of Firefox, but today I changed my browser to Chrome due to reviews that Chrome is a lot better and the fact that I was experiencing problems with Firefox.

The only thing I dislike is that there is no "save image in folder" extension for Chrome and that was a magnificent extension on Firefox.

be prepared to get tons of shockwave flash crashes if you happen to visit game sites or videos that use flash...especially if youre using ff and chrome at the same time

I uninstalled Firefox and I have had no crashes with Chrome.

it still might happen if you have the old shockwave installed ....chrome uses an internal version and it clashes with the stand alone

I like "Chrome" more than the "Firefox" perhaps because I use it a lot more than the Firefox. I have installed both of them on my laptop but I rarely tend to use Firefox. Chrome seems to be much simpler in usage to me though; I might be wrong.

Thanks for sharing the nice review ^
To be honest, I have not even heard the names of the last 5 internet browsers, listed in that list. :computer:

I was a long time user of Firefox until I switched to Chrome about a year and a half ago. For me, there was a period of adjustment, but once that was over, I've come to really like Chrome. Yes I get a few Shockwave Flash crashes, but usually on the same two sites, and they aren't as often as they used to be.

I mostly use chrome now. I do prefer firefox's download interface. My wife and kid use firefox so they're automatically logged into their youtube, facebook, and other shit they do while chrome has my youtube account... Not having to switch logins is really my only main reason for staying with chrome or I'd probably still use firefox. No real issues with chrome other than sometimes it freezes opening a new tab for a few seconds. Also I mainly use XP, I have a dual boot with Win 7 but I always end up mainly using XP. Win 7 does have the same two browsers set up the same way if I do choose to boot it.

^ You would have very good ram in your computer. I have heard that having windows XP and windows 7 in your system tends to make it pretty slower irrespective of which windows you use.

I've experieced all the browsers in that review exept Rockmelt...for the moment I run Safari from Apple..one can run it on Windows 7..
and it's damn good..i also tried out Comodo Dragon which is like Google Chrome..but better...
then there is Avant,Maxthon,Slimbrowser,Seamonkey(which is like Firefox)I still got Firefox,IE9 and Chrome..
but I use mostly Safari now...just try it out...:)
I did not like Avant or Maxthon..they gave some probs..i recently installed a virus scanner called G Data...
best i ever had..Germany based with 2engine controls both working..
a good firewall...and a very fast scanning process...

I was always a loyal FireFox user until the first time I tried Chrome. I've been hooked ever since. Seriously, I don't have any porn in my browser history anymore. Revolutionary. My favorite feature has got to be the integration of the Google search into the url bar, which is apparently included in other browsers now, but Chrome was my first experience of it.

Yes, I believe that the integration of Google search had been initially started by "Google Chrome". And its really a user-friendly feature, saves loads of time especially for a person like me who is hooked to searching almost everything on Google.

i dunno what my wife did to it, but she has Chrome, and when i try to search in the address bar it takes me to ask.com

that was one cool thing i knew about chrome, but it doesn't do it on her laptop.

i'm still using firefox, but maybe i should switch. youtube lags pretty bad for me, but it could be my laptop, not the browser.

I will always be loyal to Firefox. Unwilling to even try a change, though one of my friends does use chrome. I found it to be on par Firefox.

I use firefox on my netbook. I tried chrome because the person i got it from he already had chrome on it so i thought i would give it a try and i didn't like it. When i used things that use java it would always crash on me and whatnot. My boyfriend is a loyal googlechrome user. He loves his chrome. He downloaded firefox for me on his computer. The thing i like about chrome is it has google voice where its like a free internet phone where you can call or text people.
