It really is, I got scared shitless of that movie when I was like 6, and all I did was hear the noises from that scene from another room. It WAS scary, but now it's just awesome. It's still cool to watch.

I saw Fire in the Sky right after it came out on video, when I was about 6 or 7, and I was amazingly scared by it. The next few nights after that I was sure that aliens were going to abduct me... oh, those aliens were so creepy. Does anyone remember the part where he was being chased by the aliens through the craft? Oh, and the examination of his body was damn scary too.

On a side note, that movie is based on an actual abduction report with substantial evidence to back it up. Interesting...

I love the movie, even own a copy of it. Did you know that Travis Walton is in the bar scene at the beginning of the movie. I believe he's the second man who speaks.

My parents rented that movie when I was a kid. Well, other kids are afraid of monsters in the closet. . . I was afraid of aliens, all because of that movie. My mom, for some horrible reason, said "wouldnt you like to wake up in the middle of the night with one of those aliens in your bed?" Needless to say, I didn't sleep that night. Everytime a helecopter or plane would fly over, my brother and I would be sure it was a ufo.
