some pics i modified of my dreads if anyone wants me to work my magick on their pic, let me know... also lets see your dread-full art! and another version!
awesome, gorgeous & a bunch of other nice things I'm having trouble naming right now @ Caelynn i feel all artsy and inspired too occasionally, mine aint no 'dread art' though.. http://vaataette.blogspot.com/ (scroll down). they're all done in a 'special' state of mind so some of them might not make any sense at first glimpse
Cool thread! Caelynn, I like how youve encorporated an elemental side to your art. And Phen, your style is really grungey and cool. I too have done art while experiencing, "Higher states of Conciousness", none of which is on my deviant art account, but your welcome to look anyway! http://speddy.deviantart.com This is the only Dreadlock related drawing I have on the internet, of a man chick. http://speddy.deviantart.com/art/Beautiful-Natasha-57331731 Theres one more hiding in a sketch pad somewhere, Ill upload it if I find it...
phen- your art is pretty crazy! i like it though, i feel like i could look at it for a long time and still always find new things Sped- i love the future of evolution! it is stunning! well, all your work is stunning
ooo, you're dreads are looking so nice! i love the photo editing. you should blow those up and plaster them on the wall.
sorry to sound like a fangirl, but caelynn, your dreads seriously kill. they are so gorgeous. i might ask for a photo tweak for a picture for my etsy when my dreads are tighter, if that's an idea you can work with. i'd be willing to negotiate a trade. and ps. do you have an etsy or a website because i think i might need to buy one of your ponytail hats.
that compliment made my day! i'd love to help make a pic for your etsy eventually and yup i do have an etsy, though i have only a few hats up currently. I am always willing to take custom orders though my etsy is caelynn.etsy.com
Hey Caelynn, how do you do the black and white thing with the coloured parts? I take it your using potatoshop
hehehe potatoshop actually currently i'm using a program called Photoimpression, it is nothing compared to Paint shop Pro, the program i usually use, but it works. as for black and white, i use a new layer, and a paint brush and paint the areas i want colored, then i make that layer more transparent and turn the saturation down on the layer that is the picture
thanks dreadlochness, and yours will be long eventually mine just got a bit of a head start since my hair was half way down my back when i started
