The Yes Album is far and away my favorite, with "Yours Is No Disgrace" my favorite track there. Close To The Edge is also great, but radio overplayed it to the point where I don't look for it much anymore.......

Close To The Edge is easily my favorite album by anyone. Going For The One is easily my second favorite album by anyone. Of course, maybe if I had heard Going For The One first, then these two would have to trade places, but they would still be my all-time first and second favorites.

Close To The Edge is my favorite. But Fragile and The Yes Album are not far behind. I liked their stuff from the late 60's and early 70's best.

That album is from 1983, it is not from the Classic Yes Era.

I can't choose because I have only listened to the two first albums, Yes (1969) and Time And A Word (1970). However, I have listened to songs from The Yes Album (1971) and some other songs from the 70's and 80's. From Yes (1969) and Time And A Word (1970) I'd pick the first one, I like the songs "Yesterday And Today" and "Sweetness".

For me it's 'Close To The Edge', because that album changed my life. Before I listened to Yes, I listened to the Top 40 crap, cause I wasn't really into music. It was 'Close To The Edge' that brought me into classic rock.

Oh my my, I LOVE YES. not to brag but i saw them in august 04, 3rd row, i could see the sweat dripping off Steve Howe. It was glorious.

Fav albums hmmm, I'd have to say: Yes, The Yes Album, Fragile and Close to the Edge. In no particular order.

As for the one i like least (not that i don't like, just the one i don't put on very often;)), it would have to be Tormato. Anyhow, Yes are the sh-t. <3

Chris Squire did a solo album called "Fish Out of Water". God, I wish to hell I could find a copy of that (vinyl lp). A number of cuts were excellent, "Silently Falling" was one.

I have a feeling that I would like "The Yes Album" the most. I already heard "Starship Trooper" and "I've Seen All Good People".
