Stone Soup was nice The Emperors New Clothes always sat with me as well I had never heard of Where the Wild Things Are before news of the movie
My parents never read to me. Actually, I don't think my dad knows how...he never reads anything. When I could read to myself, I liked Beverly Cleary's books.
My favorite book was Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? (I think mainly cause I could memorize it and pretend I could read). As for stories in general, Peter Pan. I used to ask my mom if he could come take me to Neverland so I didn't have to grow up. Still a little disappointed that didn't happen. I also was convinced, around the age of 4 or 5, that you really did just have to believe and then you could fly. I tried this at Preschool by jumping off of various tall objects. I swear for one second, it worked. At least, that's how I remember it.
oh and lion king annndd little foot, the land before time my ma said i used to know all the words off it, and be sayin the words as a watched it
i liked the anansi stories i was told best, i think. actually, i'd love an big spider/anansi tattoo on my back to be honest. i'll probably never get it, though. other than that, i liked a lot of the classic fairy tales i was told, like jack and the beanstalk and such. oh, but if movies count, then definitely ghostbusters
