The beatles were very famous (or infamous, if thats what you think) for going psychedelic, and it really changed alot of todays music so what is your favorite psych beatles songs?

Well, depending on how I take the question, I could list my personal favorite Beatles songs which also happen to by psychedelic, or I could list what I think are the Beatles psychedelic Beatles songs based on how they work as psychdelic songs. I will go with the latter and say the best psychedelic songs by the Beatles are:
1. Tomorrow Never Knows
2. I am the Walrus
3. Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (not one of my favorite Beatles songs)
4. Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite
5. Within You, Without You

You know, the beatles rocked, and I love 'em - don't get me wrong - but there was stuff goin' on back then that was far more psychedelic then the ol' lads from liverpool were doing... they were 60's pop-psych. basically. Great tunes nevertheless...

well yeah i guess it is all a matter of opinion but oh well, what the hell...

 

Actually, my favourite is Strawberry Fields Forever and I also love Because. I don't know if you'd call it psychedelic, but Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except For Me And My Monkey is great, too... and Nowhere Man... Well, there are a lot more great songs, so I better stop now. And remember: Nothing is Beatle-proof! take care

 

I'd have to say Across the Universe was my favorite Beatles song, though I do like alot of the others. I'm suprized nobody else listed Across the Universe as one of their favorites

Here's my top five, I guess... Man, this is tough!:

1) "I Am the Walrus"
2) "I'm Only Sleeping"
3) "Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite!"
4) "Rain"
5) "Tomorrow Never Knows"

That was so hard. In my mind the Beatles didn't have a dud... except for maybe "All You Need is Love," and while I dislike the song, I recognize it as a good song.

 

This isn't a well know 1 but, i like "you know my name (look up the number)". Its really a great song.

I can't say which is my favourite Beatles' song, I love them! I think the most psychedelic are:
