This has probably been posted here before, but I'd like to elaborate on it... What's your favorite meal of the day, why, and what are some specific dishes you enjoy? BREAKFAST typically dictates how you start your day. It can be as simple as a muffin, bowl of cereal or piece of fruit. It can also be a more traditional full meal of eggs, bacon or sausage, toast, juice, coffee or tea, potatoes, etc. A good base to start the day is what makes this my top meal choice. Weather it's a light healthy meal or a hardy bounty, breakfast is a must for this eater. LUNCH can be a very structured or even rushed. It's usually alloted a specific amount of time and can also be limited depending on where you spend your days or how much you care to spend. For these reasons, many people rely on the classic brown bag. DINNER leaves so many choices ranging from simple to very complex. A burrito or pizza for example, are both very simple choices. However, a more complex series of events and social occasions can be based around this meal. Parties, dates, holidays and even weddings take advantage of this meal opportunity. Dinner can be a single serving or be drawn out into a variety of progressing courses. It can also be enjoyed tapas style, buffet, family style, in conjunction with theater, carry out, dine in, on the TV tray, or just about any way you can imagine. BRUNCH, like breakfast, can be simple, yet also like dinner, offers a wide variety of choices. Perhaps it's the best of both meals. Typically being served later in the morning through early afternoon, this meal gives us the option of sleeping in or taking advantage of premeal activities such as exercising or coveted AM intimacy. I consider brunch a special occasion and, in the same way as chocolate cake, wouldn't want to eat it everyday. Too much of a good thing... you know? In order of personal preference, I choose breakfast, then dinner, then brunch and finally lunch.
i would have to say that my favorite meal of the day is lunch. by the way i have lunch at like 3:00 once i get home! i like to eat very slowly and while doing other stuff! so at lunch time i'm able to do that. oh and my favorite mean would have to be spaghetti with no meat ball and extra cheese! hummm :drool:
Breakfast. Because it keeps me from overeating the rest of the day and I normally don't eat more than 2 meals a day anyway. I can eat breakfast and just wait til dinner. Breakfast curbs down my appetite all day. So I always make sure to eat breakfast every morning after my workout.
Dinner. i get to make what i like (because there's no rush to go to work) and take my own sweet time to eat it.
1. Dinner 2. Breakfast 3. Lunch Dinner because it's when I eat the most, and a proper meal like a curry or something. Then breakfast because it sets you up for the day and makes you feel refreshed, then lunch cus it's the only other option and it's just a small random meal. D':
