Well I know there's an alcohol forum, but no one goes there so I figured I'd ask here What's your guys preference of choice with beer? You want it to taste good, or just get you fucked up. I like Bud light sometimes, never use to but this kid I use to hang with loved it so I got use to the taste, Mike's hard lemonade isn't bad either, but I'd have to say either New castle or Red stripe is the best taste wise.
Corona Extra. When we drink I usually get a few 22's of Corona and a 40 of OE or maybe a higher content 40.
Icehouse is pretty good man, haven't had it in awhile though. Talking about all this makes me want to drink.. and I'm not the best drunk
Natty light is the worst shit to ever come into existence imo lol. But to each his own I guess, haha.
Sam Adams Summer Ale... yummm Or Magic Hat #9 or Magic Hat Circus Boy. Both equally delicious. And then there's this brewery down the street from my house that makes blueberry beer with real blueberries floatin' around in the brew. They also make a delicious pumpkin ale. Yummmy yum In conclusion, I love beer.
i liked magic hat #9, but it didnt wow me. as highly as people speak of it, i expected something magnificent. but when it comes to unusual, unclassifiable styles for my money i'd much rather go with dogfisheads midas touch (what they call an "ancient ale," which is a rediculous name but an intriguing concept) perhaps the #9 just didnt do it for me the night i tried it. i ought to give it another try. first i want to try another of their offerings, though, because i really want to like them. personally my favorite beer is often whatever the most recent really really good one i've tried is, but over the past 6 months or so i've been dreaming of the perfect beer, what has probably been the first beer in a long time to actually secure a position as my "favorite" beer. if the opportunity ever arises for an aspiring beer drinker to try a beer of the saison, or "belgian farmhouse ale" style, that opportunity should be taken. an ideal first saison would be the american brewed hennepin, i think, which is lighter, less "funky" and a bit more accessible than many saisons which tend to be dry, sour, or bitter. but while hennepin (by the ommegang brewery which specializes in american-made beers in traditionally belgian styles) may be a good first saison, my all-time favorite is ForĂȘt it's made by brasserie dupont, which also brews, among others, saison dupont, which is regarded by many as the quintessential saison, the standard by which others are measured. while saison dupont is indeed delicious, i find forĂȘt to taste even better. if i had a glass to sip right now i'd be more in depth in my description, but i will refrain as i can't trust my memory to be 100% accurate in the description. but it's great, and oddly it also happens to at least claim to be belgiums only 100% certified organic ale of ANY variety, which surprises me a bit. i just found this on google: as for affordable to downright cheap beer, i really like yeungling, but am known for often drinking strohs. i've probably consumed more strohs than any other single brand, though i've probably consumed more expensive beer than cheap beer since i turned 21. i also often buy pbr, and occasionally gennessee. once in a long while i'll buy MGD or high life. or michelob ultra amber, or honey brown. these are very rare, though. usually if its cheap beer, its strohs. mmm....i wouldnt mind having one now, actually. but all i got is seagrams 7 and sam adams octoberfest...thats good enough though, so its a party!
