sadly its not that easy... i wil go with Joel Plaskett at the moment cause his lyrics are decent and yet simple...and i love the echo he ut on most of his songs... or Corb Lund, who isnt RnR, but still is rockin none the less with his new album that is filled with Rag-Time Country, classic Ian Tyson-esque soulful songs, and then just plain rockin country... or Sam Roberts, who hasnt released a new album in 2 years or so, but still kicks ass... yes, im a sucker for homegrown canadain rock
zeppelin the tomm petty then the doors then hendrix then cream then somon and the g funk, dylan, the dead, the beatles, boston, rolling stones, phish and more
I've never been able to pick out my favorite band. I tend to go through intervals of weeks of where I enjoy a couple certain bands and listen to them consistently. Other times I listen to numerous bands at a time. I suppose it all differs according to my mood. Currently, Hendrix is amongst my top five.
One look at my sig tells you the answer: my soul belongs to The Who ever since I first heard "Tommy".
The Libertines. A band about love and music, and love for music. Great songs, great spirit, great lyrics. Enough said, I love them. Tori Amos. Amazing singer, pianist and lyricist. I've seen her live twice, and she takes you away to a whole new world. She's a wonderful personality and she puts everything of that into her music.
