    has anyone had this beer?

i was in a bar the other night and noticed this beer on tap. the name caught my eye but i decided to go with sierra nevada instead.

basically just wondering if this is a good beer.

I've never seen it around here.

A lot of people seem to like it, though.

It's good. Every freakin' bar and restaurant around here has it on tap. It is made in Ft Collins -- about an hour north of Denver.

the closest thing I can think to compare it to is Bass Ale

It's everywhere around here. I've never tried it but sounds like it's supposed to be good.

fat tire is one of my favourite beers. The best time to drink fat tire is on a sunny afternoon.

I have had it, sorta some bad colorado (as if anything good has come out of the region besides non man made mountains)stuff.....I prefer the micros of the northwest, in all their white bread flaky glory.

I like it a lot. Mostly because of the good memories it brings up. Me and all my fellow park rangers used to drink it every night after tours. Ah, good times. It does taste pretty good though.

    oh god. yes sir...

around here it's not "yuengling lager" it's.... "LAGER" but fuckin yuengling is the only place that makes a lager.

    well, lets just say....

its cheap-grew drinking the shit. it's better then MGD and bud...

    lol

i wont drink it though unless im out and it's the best beer they have on tap.

off the tap it's not bad. :)

Frankly, I think that Yuengling TRADITIONAL (not Yuengling Premium) is a great amber lager - one of my favorite lagers to be exact.

However, I could care less for their other beers, including the black & tan. It's not bad, though, considering the price.

Not really. It's not as bad as the aftertaste I get with some of the overpriced Euro-lagers anyway.

OK, I haven't even heard of the "Yuengling", but y'all got me tryin' to remember a beer I had on tap in Flagstaff... think it was something like Oak Creek Canyon Fat Tire out of Sedona??? Can anyone confirm this? It was an amber ale. Jolly good too!

Yeah, i guess you just remember things (like this after taste) when you drink waaaay too much of something growing up. cause when i was like 17, there was ALWAYS yuengling around.

anyways, i agree- for the price, it's decent.

also, i agree with you on the boddinton's... it's been a LOOONG time since i had it and i really like it at first (two days ago) but i notice the after-taste. actually, after-taste isnt even really the word for it.... just something funky about it though. :p still decent but not as good as i thought....
