I was walking behind a rather large person the other day, They walked through a door, Afterwards I walked through the same door.......... I thought wow weee that took them a long time to open the door past there girth and enter the room As for me I just kind of slid through the crack, My question to you! Do you think that bigger people waste allot of there time just going from one room to the next? (they have to open the door wider= longer duration=more time wasted) I think the best possible out come would be if we removed all doors from the world so we don't discriminate and wast Larger peoples time..... Thoughts?
I stopped forming opinions after I had to listen to a rather obese guy complain that he couldn't fit into a booth at a restaurant.... I just kept thinking "Dude... It's a sign...."
Well, if they would skip the effort of going to another room they just gonna lay on their bed until they can't get off. So actually no, that time was not wasted. It could be they were waisting other peoples time if there was a queue though.
"I thought wow weee that took them a long time to open the door past there girth and enter the room " I think you need to study up on their, there and they're. Just sayin.
what about these perfectly able bodied people that just walk really slow? the other day i was going into the grocery store behind this guy, and I literally had to stop to let him get further ahead of me as he was walking through the *open* door. also, why are 99% of these people black?
My personal opinion is that musing on the mobility mechanics of the obese is actually more counter productive than the minimal door opening time lag they may or may not produce.
When I was 100lbs overweight I didn't CHOOSE to be that way.. then it turns out that I had a medical condition and my hormones were super fucked up, I got on medication for it and didn't change my diet or start exercising at all and the weight pretty much just fell off So no, I don't judge people who are fat, unless I know specifically that they are doing something do their bodies that is causing them to be fat, for instance my sisters boyfriend who lives with us, eats every meal from the deep fryer and eats huge in between meals of pizza, ice cream, fast food.. he is pretty much the 'stereotypical american' and he gained 50 lbs so far this year already and refuses to admit that it's from the food, I asked him if he wanted saladworks one day and he said no.. I came home and he was eating a whole meat lovers pizza to himself, so
sometimes people are just more laid back. on the other hand, some times people do this shit as a game, a way to fuck with other people that they can get away with
i hate the way that word fat gets used towards people.calling larger ladies or men fat has no positives whatsoever.it will not help anyone of either sex with there weight problems.as a matter of fact it will probably make them eat more food they dont need, because of feeling upset about it.then there is also people who have weight problems for medical reasons.its not always as clear cut as just healthy or unhealthy eating.but calling a larger person fat is a negative for them all the way.of no positive addition to them at all.
I genuinely care for all people. But yeah, the do get in my way from time to time, in a way only large people can. I basically mentally go "Nooo!" if I get caught behind a fat couple while food shopping. However it is not the worst thing in life.
