Anyone ever read any books by Farley Mowat? This guy is becoming a favorite author of mine. He seems to write mainly nonfiction, but he tells it so well that it reads like a novel. I've only read 2 books by him so far, "Never Cry Wolf" which is about his time spent studying wolves in northern Canada in the mid century, and right now I'm reading "The Snow Walker" which is a collection of short stories, most seem to be stories told to him by the Inuit (Eskimos). He generally writes about the "north country" so if you like Jack London I think you'll like Farley Mowat.
Yup. I read it, and I dig it. I want to read more Eskimo folklore now, so I think "Snow Walker" should be next on my list.
