Excape/Escape

How about when people can't pronounce the word escape properly? There's no X in that word. Does this bother anyone else?

That's one of the biggest things I miss about living in NY. That and "shyeeeeeeeeeeeet!"

 

Is there specific forum for words and pronounciation that I don't know about? Sheesh, talk about nit picking!
