ever help make a judgement on a person by how your pets react to them?

my friend, matt, that i hadnt seen in a long time was here today...

he got to meet my cats for the first time and they FLOCKED to him. let him hold them like babies.... RIGHT AWAY. my cats do not do that to strangers....

yet my cats dont like certain people right away, like my dad...

it's kinda interesting to me.

 

It's probably cuz he had cat urine all over him at one time

 

My other half thinks I am nuts, but I have determined whether or not I like people based on how my dogs react to them. One person in particular comes to mind. My normally very welcoming dog growled at one guy when he came in the house. When he later really, really screwed over my sis-in-law, I recalled the time our dog met him. Call it weird, but I believe animals are intuitive.

 

yep, animals can sense certain things MUCH quicker then us....

ive realized, if a person is kinda neutral, my cats act neutral, if their aura glows and their karma good, my cats know,...and the same to bad karma.

 

My one cat seems to be pretty good at that but the other 4 don't seem to care who pets them, I just got 2 kittens yesterday hopefully they will intuitive since they will know me their whole lives.
I think maybe that makes the difference? Hrmph.

 

my cats seem to be able to sense different karma, if you have good karma, they'll be next to you right away, if you're karma is neutral they'll watch ya and then approach, if you're karma gives off a bad vibe, they wont come anywhere near you. Once one of my ex's came over and the cats ran and hid the complete time she was there, lol even the cats knew she was a b***h

 

every dog I've had has bitten every guy i've dated. If I judged who to be with based on whether my dog bit them or not I would wind up an old lady with like 50 dogs.

 

Did you stay with any of the guys though?

 

of course like I'm not with any of them now but yeah every dog except for the female dog I have now has bitten anyone I have ever dated.

 

My old girl, Priscilla, hated guys... it was so funny. Every time a guy came to the house, she would freak out and try to bite him. What was weird was that she was mean to all the nice ones, but the only two hardcore assholes that ever came over to my house just totally swept her off her paws and she couldn't get enough of them. It was weird. Silly puppy.

 

woah you have some scary dogs... i've been bitten once my entire life in the butt by a neighbor dog when i was about 11. that thing was EVIL!! a little black cocker spaniel...

i have a cat who runs away from me every time i come near it... lol... i think i need to be home more and give him more attention.

i do judge ppl based on my family's responses to them though. my siblings are all pretty good judges of character so I respect their opinions a lot.

yeah that does... i've had that problem a few times myself... which is one reason i'm still single...

 

well my kitten takes to everybody, curious little devil... but i use her as a mirror sordove sometimes shell pick up that my mom is outside my room when i wont, or that something is going on i dont see or hear...

No, but I do make judgements on people by how they react to animals. For example, I don't think I'd be able to be in a relationship if they guy didn't like dogs.

 

I think my dog was de-sensitized. He welcomes anyone near him that would pay attention to him. If there was ever a burglary he'd probably show them around.

 

I don't own a gun but I do own two children who'd talk your ear off. That could be just as effective if your not in the mood for talking.

 

I don't remember the name of the movie but Denise Leary kidnaps a couple and they fight like crazy. It drives Denise totally mad. It's so funny.
