I saw the movie not too long ago...
    And I loved it!!!!...
But, but to really understand it I had to watch it twice.
    Amazing work...amazing scrip...(and sometimes you wonder what's in people's mind!...lol)
Jim Carrey did an excellent job in playing such a different role (from what we are used to see)
This is def. not the typical Hollywood stupid movie!

I'll give it 2 thumbs UP!
    Five stars....or something like that!!

    Fer;)

i LOVE this movie!! It is amazing, the whole concept of it all is so original and unique. Jim Carrey, someone I am not really fond of, but wow he pulled it off. I love Kate Winslet's character as well.. the color of her hair helps you understand where it is at in the story, but such a good movie.

Yeah i liked it a lot as well... - If you liked that one chck out "Garden State"; it's my favorite right now. "ESotSM" actually lost me my membership at the place i rent from; my boyfriend returned it and then like 2 months later we found the actual disk for it behind the couch (how it got there - a mystery). So, instead of paying the hefty late fee, we stopped going there...

it was a nice effort, though it felt like a 4th-plateau DXM trip more than anything.

I really liked it. It was hard to understand at first, but I saw the ending coming. Still, I loved it through and through.

After watching this film again yesterday, I really tried to make myself like it, but sorry just not gonna happen. Some things it is impossible for a person to like. Such things as liberals, tapeworms and Jim Carrey cannot be liked. This film is totally a poo poo film. It still makes no sense after a second viewing and I doubt it ever will. It is just a failed art piece, like most "art" really. And why would anyone want to go to Montauk in winter? Its nice in the summer but really it's still no Hamptons. ANyway, this film is loved by all the anti-american liberal types and people who love this film like fahrenheit 9/11. And Bush is great, he donated $10,000 to disaster relief. Whereas Michael Moore paid $10,000 for an all you can eat Old Country Buffet to be placed in his bedroom. But back to this film, if you like it, fine. You just like poop.

I really don't like how you stereotype everyone here who likes this movie into a huge group of Bush hating anti american liberals. Who are you to say who we are or what else we like based on one movie? If you don't like it it's fine and everyone here respects your opinion, but no one is resorting to childish statements. You have some good points, but I can't regard them at all until you stop stereotyping people and making rash comments.

I loved the movie so much and actually thought of dying my hair blue and buying that outragious orange jacket kate wore. i thought it was original and touching and just all around great. it wasnt your typical love story yet it was so beautiful. i will buy it someday..... i think there should be more movies like it where you actually are required to think. it was one of those movies where it instantly becomes one of your top favorites. it kinda reminds me of A Butterfly Effect, which also was a totally groovy movie.

it really makes me upset that someone who would join such a love-filled hippie forum can reply with so much hate shakezulla. it's ok to not like a movie just cuz u dont understand it and thats fine but u really dont have to bash the ppl who do. art is art and u either love a piece or u dont, but u should respect ppl's opinions rather then just assuming ur opinion is the correct one. its ppl like u who give bush lovers such a bad reputation. i am not a bush lover but at least i respect ur opinion. and one day i hope u get a good look at urself .

This movie was incredible. The entire concept was really cool and well done. It took me so long to remember the title though
