errr I got a ticket

for driving without my lights on. I didn't even know that you could really even get a ticket for that. He looked like some 30 year old virgin. I hate cops like that who get their revenge out by giving tickets to women because he can't get any. They need to waste their time finding real criminals not giving me some stupid ticket. It happened in the city I live in-not the city of san diego so I can't fucking get out of it. Is my insurance going to go up for this? I can't go to traffic school because I've been in the past year.

 

you should of had sex with him right there, and nock that virgin cop's socks off , maybe even spanked him alittle he would of like that.......

yeah it was nightime. I stopped over at someones house and two blocks later got pulled over ): I started crying because I am horribly afraid of guns and i get panicky when I'm near them and the bastard still wrote me a ticket.

 

Since I stopped smoking pot this problem hasn't reared it's ugly head in a while.

Once when I was first dating my husband, his car died just after going through an intersection. So we pulled off the road (it was a hill, so we could roll) and looked under the hood.
We were only there 5 minutes and this little Asian cop pulls up and threatens to have the car towed if we don't get it out of there. Didn't offer to help or anything...
I decided that he must have been suffering from "Small Man Disorder". Poor little guy!

 

I only ever got one ticket. I was going 40 mph in a 25 mph zone. I know, I'm a lead foot. My ticket was $91.00.

I told the Officer he was giving me my first ticket ever. I said it with a smile. I think he grumbled.

well the first thing I said when the cop pulled me over was 'I am in a hurry and I know I wasn't speeding because you've been following me since I pulled out' and he said well your lights were off and I said 'uhm ya that happens sometimes'. I didn't know he could ticket me for that. I also didn't have my insurance card with me so he is making me send it in-when he already called my car in so he knows I am regestered and insured.

 

Ofcourse you should get a ticket for driving without your lights on at night, because it is plain stupid and dangerous.

That is almost the same thing that happened to me, but it was a school zone, but it was on a sunday can they do that, cause I didnt think they could...

vehicule lights are not entirely for us to see with. indeed under many circumstances we would all see more withoug them if no one else were using them either.

the more important function they serve is to make your own vehicule more visible to others.

this for MOST other drivers will reduce the likelyhood of their running into you!

believe me, if its in the driver's handbook, you CAN get a ticket for it. and probable several things that are not.

i think we are a culture of suckers to immagine we gain freedom by indenturing ourselves to an automobile, economicly coercing each other into doing so by policies who'se real agenda is not widely or well understood, or mutualy promoting the deception of doing so.
