i could prolly post this elsewhere on this site, but i really like the people in that post in this section what is your favorite music or band to listen to while you are in the depths of a high dose of psychedelics? i always find myself listening to electronic music like the goriilaz or daft punk during a high dose 2c-e trip.. electronic music just sounds so beautiful while tripping. how about YOU?
classical music can be pretty amazing. check out rachmaninov's second piano concerto. so much feeling.
bassnectar->aMT & 4-aco-dmt Don Caballaro [specifically the album "american don"]->2c-e Amon Tobin->Ketamine Dubstep/glitch->ketamine+MDxx LSD -> "Close to the Edge" by yes......SUCH an intimate bond between these two i also had a very intense experience the first time i heard "Yoshimi battles the pink robots" by The Flaming Lips while on STRONG lsd.. i'll forever have a bond with this album...but not quite like close to the edge aside from that it's kinda whatever mood i'm in....so much music
"The End" by The Doors and "Machine Gun(live)" by Band Of Gypsies/Jimi Hendrix are two of my favorite tripping songs. I also like "DMT" by Shpongle. For some reason, I also really like The Trial(live 1980-81) by Pink Floyd. It puts me in a VERY insane state of mind while tripping, especially on 2ce.My fa vorite songs to listen to when shit gets too crazy are "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong and "Is There Anybody Out There(live 1980-81) by Pink Floyd. Both of those songs just make me feel extremely happy. I also like a lot of shit that you'd think would cause me to have a bad trip, such as some extremely violent satanic rap music. hahahaha There is an endless list of songs I love while tripping, but these are some of my favorites.
This weekend when the festival goers were starting to go to sleep and the woods got quiet I turned on the doors for all the people stuck in thier tent not sleeping, making them trip harder and go insane. It was intense.
A woman after my own heart :coffee: 1st concerto 2nd mvmt is my favorite movement out of Rach's concertos. me and my friend usually listen to all 4 back to back when we do acid, along with Stravinsky's Firebird Suite, which is our acid anthem. 40 minutes of beauty. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzPsJ_ikpGE"]YouTube- Stravinsky conducts Stravinsky FIREBIRD COMPLETE Dude. Dude. :cheers2:
Writer, you are awesome. I love the Firebird. I performed it with my youth orchestra last year. had goosebumps the entire time. :]
I like things with melody and complexity. Classical is nice, if it's done well. Love 'world music'. Dead Can Dance is a perennial favorite. Also deep melodic electronic music. Shpongle is amazing. 70's progressive rock is -designed- for psychedelics, and works very well.

^^^Awesome He definitely has to grow on you. Very individualistic and trippy. You have to have a certain type of mind to appreciate his style, imo. You might like this. It's a Devendra Banhart cover by my girlfriend. It's better than the original, imo. She drew the pic in the video too: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_3PyBASwCs"]YouTube- lazy butterfly cover
