i already posted this in the dream thread, but i figured i might get more feedback if i posted it in this forum.

all of my grandparents died before i was born. my parents never really mention them. The other night i dreamt i was trying to talk to my grandma. she was a young woman in the dream.there is a picture of her in her 20's in my parents room & thats the only picture i have ever seenof her.

anyways, i was asking her all these questions and trying to talk to her, but she wouldnt answer me. i was starting to get worked up & wondering why she wasnt talking to me. I kept trying to talk to her, and she started writing on a notepad and handed it to me. we had a conversation this way, with me talking to her and her writing. i dont remember exactly what we were talking about.

it was just really strange. the next morning i told my mother about it and all she said was that life is fucking crazy. then she told me that her mom had died of throat cancer and had one of those holes in her throat. she couldnt speak, so the last 6 months of her life she communicated by writing on a notepad. she was an old woman when she died, but in the dream she was young. this dream CREEPED ME THE FUCK OUT!!! my mother too because she never told me anything about her moms death.

what does this mean?

Our dreams are like a shadow reflection. Often the messages take on different shapes and understandings than the dreamer is aware is within them. Imagine walking with your shadow and being able to communicate with your inner self. I often find I cast a double shadow, and find I am my own contradictions when trying to sort through what is real, and what is only the illusions around me.

Many times those who have crossed over to the other side can speak in shadows and memories that left a mark on their soul. In this case the disease, fears, and pains added to the limitations, and the awkening within the the family she never knew.

Her message is she is fine, and to know thy self is the greatest of all balances known. She is healing, and planning on coming back through in another life experience. Before she can do this she is finding her own closure, and finishing what she wanted to do. Make her connections with you and your family an energy imprint and mark that will be forever part of her. She is no longer living with her physical limitations, and need to find forgiveness within her self. She is finding love reaches beyond the attachemnts in and around us.

She kept journals, and notes to herself for a long time, and was hoping you would do the same. To see who you are, is to also see how your choices create the "You" you want to be. Again the shadows of our own awareness, and what we hold dear to us, and find value in.

So the dream was just creating a shadow an connection within yourself as you begin to find out why you are who you are and why you entered the family and life you are in. The answer is you were only asking to find a part of your self that seems missing. The real you inside the greater whole of all that is. The connection is the opportunity to be one again and to know you are your shadows. Here is where trust, and truth are given room to grow within you. For in essence how you see yourself is how you will see the world in, and around you.
